Brynn Whitfield<\/strong><\/a> raised some eyebrows on The Real Housewives of New York City<\/em><\/a> when she flirted with Erin Lichy<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s husband, Abe Lichy<\/strong>, but their costar Jessel Taank<\/strong><\/a> says it\u2019s not really a big deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrynn has more sex appeal<\/a> in her pinky nail,\u201d Jessel, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, August 22. \u201cBrynn just exudes this, like flirtatious fun. And she\u2019s having fun with it. Nothing Brynn does or says is ever serious.\u201d<\/p>\n

While some observers may interpret Brynn\u2019s words differently, Jessel thinks her behavior is all in good fun. \u201cThat\u2019s her personality,\u201d Jessel explained. \u201cShe\u2019s very tongue-in-cheek. And that\u2019s why I get along so well with her, because we have such a laugh together. Like, she gets it.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, August 20, episode of RHONY<\/em><\/a>, Brynn, 36, caused a stir at Erin and Abe\u2019s vow renewal ceremony when she told Abe she\u2019s available if things don\u2019t work out with Erin, also 36. Brynn also made a joke about Abe and Erin never having been married because they didn\u2019t exchange vows at their first ceremony. According to Jessel, however, Abe knew the comments were purely in jest.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was standing right next to her at that moment, and Abe was laughing,\u201d Jessel recalled. \u201cIf Abe was uncomfortable, I think I would\u2019ve maybe stepped in. But knowing Brynn, I know 100 percent that she was not serious. I know women that will steal your man, and that was not it. It was not it at all. She was literally joking. And I know that she feels awful for what happened. It definitely wasn\u2019t serious at that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erin, however, didn\u2019t see it quite the same way. \u201cThinking back on it and the behavior, it\u2019s just not something I would ever do,\u201d she exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> in July. \u201cI don\u2019t think that \u2026 it was the time or place or the behavior that I find to be quite frankly, normal behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the episode aired, Brynn said she apologized to Erin for what she said to Abe at the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve apologized multiple times and admitted that the timing and the setting was awful,\u201d Brynn wrote in reply to an Instagram commenter earlier this week. \u201cI think I\u2019m SO funny and that time I was super wrong. A divorce bit at an anniversary party was not a good choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for her quip about Abe saying the wrong name during his vows, Brynn said it was a reference to the 1998 Friends<\/em><\/a> episode where Ross said Rachel\u2019s name while getting married to Emily. \u201cIt was a good joke bc I think Erin resembles the gorgeous Jen Aniston<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d Brynn said in an Instagram Story. \u201cRemember the FRIENDS<\/em> episode where Ross says Rachel\u2019s name? That part got cut. My jokes have mad depth ppl.\u201d<\/p>\n
