Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> included a special nod to late ex Mac Miller<\/a> while putting a new spin on her debut album, Yours Truly.<\/em><\/p>\n

Grande, 30, dropped a new deluxe version<\/a> of her 2013 record on Friday, August 25, to celebrate its milestone anniversary. Along with the tracks fans know and love, the expanded edition of Yours Truly<\/em> featured two fresh takes on her duet with Miller titled \u201cThe Way\u201d \u2014 a \u201cLive From London\u201d version and a \u201cSpanglish\u201d version.<\/p>\n

The \u201cLive From London\u201d recording begins with Grande showcasing her impressive vocal range<\/a> before Miller\u2019s first verse. Grande continues to belt the catchy lyrics, finishing off the performance with a trademark high note.<\/p>\n

At the end of an official video shared via Grande\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a> on Friday, a small but powerful tribute to Miller appears. \u201cFeat. Mac Miller,\u201d reads a message in white text on a black background.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAriana Grande is no stranger to whirlwind romances and devastating breakups. During her search for The One, Grande thought she came close with Pete Davidson \u2014 whom she began dating after her split from late rapper Mac Miller. Us Weekly broke the news of Grande and Davidson\u2019s engagement in June 2018 but the duo called [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Miller isn\u2019t the only one of Grande\u2019s former flames to appear on Yours Truly.<\/em> She collaborated with ex Big Sean<\/strong><\/a> on the song \u201cRight There,\u201d which also earned a \u201cLive From London\u201d version on the rerelease. (Its YouTube video, however, doesn\u2019t include a shout-out like the one Miller received.)<\/p>\n

Grande and Miller were close friends<\/a> before they began dating in 2016. \u201cI met him when I was 19,\u201d she told Cosmopolitan<\/em> in 2017. \u201cWe have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other\u2019s talent. We weren\u2019t ready at all, though, to be together. It\u2019s just timing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair recorded six songs together over the years, including his 2016 track \u201cMy Favorite Part.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May 2018, Grande confirmed that she and Miller had called it quits. He died of an accidental drug overdose<\/a> four months later at age 26.<\/p>\n
