Country singer Morgan Wade<\/strong><\/a> is blasting rumors she\u2019s romantically with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a>, saying, \u201cThe internet\u2019s a dumb place,\u201d in a Wednesday, August 23, interview about the online gossip, adding, \u201cWe\u2019re friends.\u201d<\/p>\n The ladies poked fun at the gossip<\/a> about a possible romance in Morgan\u2019s music video for \u201cFall in Love with Me,\u201d where the pair played lovers and shared a kiss. When it dropped on August 10, the Virginia native, 28, wrote in the Instagram caption, \u201cIt\u2019s campy and fun \u2014 but also important and representative of all kinds of love, even in the country space, in any space.\u201d<\/p>\n Morgan told a Chicago radio station after\u00a0performing at Lollapalooza<\/a> on August 5 how the rumors about a romance with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> star, 54, have been overwhelming for her. \u201cIt\u2019s been a lot. It\u2019s weird, it\u2019s strange. I\u2019m like, \u2018Just leave me alone.\u2019 Now it\u2019s just, like, whatever. We\u2019re good friends and it\u2019s funny,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cAt first, I was not looking at it that way because you wake up one morning and it\u2019s like all this stuff about you on the Internet, and I\u2019m not used to that at all. I\u2019m not a reality television star. I like to be left alone and write music,\u201d Morgan continued. She then explained why she decided to hire Kyle to play her love interest in the music video.<\/p>\n \u201cWe made this really sweet video and it\u2019s nice to be able to bring light to a same-sex relationship<\/a> in country music. I\u2019m not mad about that,\u201d the \u201cWilder Days\u201d songstress explained. \u201cI\u2019ve met a lot of people that are excited about that and I\u2019m like, \u2018If we can make something good out of a gossipy situation, I\u2019m gonna do it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Kyle and Morgan began fueling relationship rumors after they met in person in February 2022 after the reality star admitted to \u201cstalking\u201d the singer after falling in love with her music. By August of that year, the two were sporting matching heart tattoos on their wrists while Kyle accompanied Morgan to the \u00a0iHeart Radio Awards in Las Vegas and the 21st Annual Americana Honors & Awards in Nashville the following month.<\/p>\n The ladies have since vacationed together in Mexico, Italy and Aspen, Colorado, without Kyle\u2019s husband, Mauricio Umansky<\/strong><\/a>. She noticeably failed to share a gushing 27th wedding anniversary post in January 2023 as the Bravolebrity did in years past, and the pair revealed their marriage was in trouble on July 3 after reports surfaced that they were separating.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously,\u201d the duo shared in a joint Instagram post.<\/p>\n They continued, \u201cThere has been\u00a0no wrongdoing<\/a>\u00a0on anyone\u2019s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately.
