Bachelorette<\/a>\u2019s<\/em> Charity Lawson<\/strong><\/a> passed the rose torch to her season 20 runner-up, Joey <\/strong>Graziadei<\/strong><\/a>, who will now search for love on season 28 of The Bachelor<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI never expected this at all. [I] didn\u2019t know this is what my life was turning into. Crazy stuff!\u201d Joey said during the August 2023 After the Final Rose<\/em><\/a> special about being named the show\u2019s next lead<\/a>. \u201cI put [looking for The One on] the back burner for a while [and now] I\u2019m ready to prioritize it again.\u201d<\/p>\n Joey teased his upcoming journey via social media<\/a> one day later, noting that he has \u201cgrown immensely with time on the show\u201d and knows there is \u201croom for more growth\u201d as he searches for his lifelong partner.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel more ready than ever to find my person. It\u2019s made me more loving and accepting.\u201d<\/p>\n When Joey was sent home during The Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> season finale, he told Charity, \u201cI just want you to be happy, that\u2019s all.
