Months later, Hyland shared that the twosome met via social media.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cHave you seen those memes of \u2018Slide Into the DMs\u2019? That. He slid into my DMs,\u201d she explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> in January 2018. \u201cI thought he was funny, and he was a fan of [my] show. I saw him as the bartender and I was like, \u2018That\u2019s really cute!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Hyland referred to Adams\u2019 decision to privately message her as the perfect balance of \u201csexy,\u201d but not \u201caggressive.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was single, obviously, and was like, \u2018This is really awesome.
