The secret\u00a0to her success! After Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a> shut down speculation that she used weight loss drug Ozempic to slim down<\/a>, the reality TV star is revealing how she actually dropped the pounds.<\/p>\n \u201cI changed my eating after we were in Europe for a month,\u201d the\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills\u00a0<\/i><\/a>personality, 54, said during a Thursday, January 19, Amazon Live<\/a> session. \u201cWe were in Europe for three weeks and then Australia for a week, and I had gained weight, and I was like, \u2018OK, that\u2019s it.\u2019 No sugar, no carbs, no alcohol.\u201d<\/p>\n While Richards only planned to cut out sugar, carbs and alcohol<\/a> for a \u201clittle while,\u201d she decided to stick with the new diet because she felt \u201cso good.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cNow that I\u2019ve already lost the weight I wanted to lose \u2014 I\u2019m not trying to lose anymore \u2014 I, of course, will have birthday cake or some pasta, but actually, to be honest, once in a blue moon. I am not following the keto diet, just basically, I eat protein, vegetables, fruit and carbs once in a while. But I do eat fruits and vegetables all the time<\/a>, and I really love cereal.\u201d<\/p>\n The\u00a0Halloween Ends\u00a0<\/i>actress has also maintained her figure with a variety of exercises<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cMy workout routine, I shake it up \u2014 I do something different every day,\u201d Richards said on Thursday. \u201cI do the Peloton<\/a>, a very long, extensive ab routine<\/a>. I\u2019m now doing weights. I always did light weights, but now I\u2019ve increased my weights that I\u2019m lifting. And then I will run, either outside or \u2014 depending on the weather \u2014 I will run on the treadmill.\u201d<\/p>\n The former child star came under fire earlier this month after her ab-bearing bikini selfie sparked criticism<\/a> that she had used Ozempic to lose weight. (According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration\u00a0<\/a>(FDA), Ozempic is a medication that is commonly used for chronic weight management in adults with obesity or who are overweight with a weight-related condition, including high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes<\/a>.) Richards swiftly denied the accusations.<\/p>\n \u201cI am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have,\u201d she wrote via an Instagram comment<\/a> on Monday, January 16. \u201cI have never tried Ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery. I did have a\u00a0breast reduction in May.\u00a0I\u2019m honest about what I do.
