Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a> is proving that her musical talents are still \u201cgood as gold\u201d with her new song, \u201cApples\u201d \u2014 which may have been inspired<\/a> by Vanderpump Rules <\/i><\/a>costar Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a> and Scandoval.<\/p>\n \u201cI was with you on your worst day \/ You stabbed me in the worst way \/ How you gonna lie to my face? \/ And you said that we would always be friends,\u201d Shay, 38, sang in the first verse of the single<\/a>, which dropped on Friday, August 18. \u201cParty on the weekend \/ But you\u2019re gone without a trace \/ I thought you were grateful \/ I found out you\u2019re fake, though \/ I hope there\u2019s a place for friends like you.\u201d<\/p>\n A second verse proclaimed that Shay saw her former friend trending \u201con the Internet\u201d for being a \u201chot mess.\u201d She continued singing, \u201cA-P-P-L-E-S, how you like them?\u201d<\/p>\n Shay\u2019s next verse proved to further diss her frenemy. \u201cNarcissistic psycho \/ Cut you out lik\u0435 lipo \/ See right through you with my eyes closed,\u201d she belted. \u201cFrom a Ferrari to a Jetta \/ Thought that you knew better \/ Threw it all out the window\/ I thought you were faithful \/ I see you\u2019re a snake though.\u201d<\/p>\n Shay\u2019s bandmates \u2014 Landis Daniels<\/strong> and Kevin Franklin<\/strong> \u2014 chimed in the chorus, singing that they would never write another song about the scandal. \u201cI\u2019m so much better without you, no drama,\u201d the men crooned.<\/p>\n After Shay dropped the single, many of her Pump Rules <\/i>besties shared their support. \u201cThis is the new ANTHEM, drop the single immediately please,\u201d Lala Kent<\/strong> <\/a>captioned a Friday Instagram Story video of herself listening \u2014 and singing along \u2014 to the track.<\/p>\n Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>, for her part, proclaimed she was \u201cobsessed\u201d with the song via Instagram<\/a> comment. James Kennedy<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s girlfriend, Ally Lewber<\/strong><\/a>, added that she was listening to \u201cApples\u201d on repeat for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n While Shay has not shared her musical inspiration for the song, many fans inferred that she was talking about her dramatic friendship breakup with Leviss, 28.<\/p>\n The former pageant queen \u2014 who was a bridesmaid in Shay\u2019s August 2022 wedding<\/a> to Brock Davies<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 alleged in March that Shay punched her in the face backstage<\/a> at Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen <\/i>when she learned that Leviss and Tom Sandoval<\/strong> <\/a>had been involved in a months-long affair<\/a> despite his relationship with Madix, 38. Shay, however, denied assaulting Leviss<\/a> and claimed that her long nails even prevented her from properly forming a fist<\/a>.<\/p>\n Leviss subsequently served Shay with a temporary restraining order<\/a>, which she ultimately dropped by the Vanderpump Rules <\/i>season 10 reunion l<\/a>ater that March. While Shay did not regret being a good pal to Leviss<\/a> ahead of the scandal, they have since cut ties.<\/p>\n Leviss later admitted during an appearance on Bethenny Frankel<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cReWives\u201d podcast<\/a> earlier this week, that they were BFFs before the drama. \u201cShe offered her apartment to me to stay in while I was figuring out my next moves. After breaking up with James, she kept this apartment in L.A. but wasn\u2019t living in it<\/a> \u2019cause she was living down in San Diego, but she started creating this narrative that she was the sister I never had and like a mother to me,\u201d Leviss said on the Wednesday, August 16, podcast episode. \u201cAnd that she gave me a place to live when nobody else would, you know, put me up anywhere. [She said] that I didn\u2019t pay rent, which is not true.
