After missing much of season 11 filming for\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>, star\u00a0Raquel \u201cRachel\u201d Leviss<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>will not be returning to the show\u00a0<\/span>f<\/span>ollowing her months-long affair with\u00a0<\/span>Tom Sandoval<\/a><\/strong>, according\u00a0<\/span>to multiple reports published on Thursday, August 17.\u00a0<\/span>The scandal, a.k.a. Scandoval,\u00a0\u200b caused the\u00a0<\/span>the breakup<\/a>\u00a0of his nine-year relationship with her former best friend,\u00a0<\/span>Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Both Tom, 41, and Ariana, 38, returned to filming when production on the new season began on June 28, but Raquel, 28, was in a mental health rehab facility<\/a> at the time. She entered treatment following the March 23 season 10 reunion show taping and was left in early July.<\/p>\n While the majority of the VPR<\/em> cast was filming a trip to Lake Tahoe in mid-July, Raquel was photographed for the first time in four months outside her family\u2019s home in Tucson, Arizona<\/a>, on July 19. She wore a baseball cap with a message reading, \u201cBe a better person.\u201d As of TK date, Raquel had not been seen filming any scenes for the upcoming season 11. All of the main cast members have been photographed by paparazzi shooting scenes while some have posted Instagram photos of their adventures, including the Tahoe trip which revealed that Sandoval joined the rest of his costars despite several saying they wanted nothing to do with him after his affair with Raquel was exposed.<\/p>\n Lisa Vanderpump<\/a><\/b><\/span>\u00a0revealed on May 18 that that she hadn\u2019t \u201chad any contact with Raquel\u201d and that the former waitress needed to re-evaluate her priorities. <\/span>\u201cI think she really needs to discuss with us what\u2019s going on in her life, but Sandoval\u2019s been part of that group for 15 years prior,\u201d the SUR owner said. \u201cYou know, four years prior to the show. So, of course, there\u2019s conversations and questions to be answered, and I hope they can get to that place. That\u2019s what I really hope for them.\u201d<\/p>\n Raquel and Sandoval had a seven-month long secret affair<\/a> that was exposed on March 1 when Ariana found messages from her former BFF<\/a> on her then-partner\u2019s phone. Two days later, their split was revealed after a nine years as a couple. The three-part reunion episodes<\/a> saw cast members unload on the former lovers.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m super embarrassed and not proud of myself,\u201d Raquel said during the June 7 episode. \u201cAnd I know I owe a lot of people in this room an apology \u2026 I have been super, super selfish.\u201d That caused Ariana to fire back,\u00a0\u201cSelfish does not f\u2013king cover it, bitch. Diabolical, demented, disgusting, subhuman \u2014 start getting a better vocabulary to describe your f\u2013king actions because selfish does not f\u2013king cover it.\u201d<\/p>\n After news of the affair broke, the Sonoma, California, native issued a statement via\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0on March 8. \u201cI want to apologize for my actions<\/a> and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships,\u201d she began. \u201cThere is no excuse, I am not a victim, and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana<\/p>\n The Bravo star said that she\u2019s been \u201creflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships,\u201d she continued, adding, \u201cI am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
