Kaitlyn Bristowe<\/strong><\/a> is finding the silver lining following her split from Jason Tartick<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The former Bachelorette<\/em><\/a>, 38, took to social media on Thursday, August 17, to give a life update to fans through a series of Instagram photos. \u201cNot to spoil the ending for you. But you\u2019re going to be OK \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d she captioned the slideshow, which included lighthearted photographs of her with out with friends, seeing a psychic and receiving a bouquet of flowers.<\/p>\n The final two snaps of the post, however, featured a selfie of Bristowe crying and a cryptic quote that seemingly gave insight into her current headspace after calling it quits with Tartick, 34, earlier this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is only heavy because you are deciding over and over again to carry it,\u201d the quote read. \u201cEmbrace change, loosen up your sense of identity, let yourself walk a new path. You do not have to ignore or erase the past, you just have to wholeheartedly embrace the present and move on.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Bristowe initially sparked split speculation in July when she was spotted without her engagement \u2014 or then-fianc\u00e9 \u2014 while on a trip.\u00a0The twosome\u00a0announced their split<\/a> earlier this month.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur dogs Ramen & Pinot will continue to be cared for together as brothers. While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together,\u201d the duo\u2019s joint statement read in part. \u201cContinuing our friendship is incredibly important<\/a> to both of us. We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It\u2019s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.\u201d<\/p>\n Bristowe later revealed during the Tuesday, August 15, episode of her \u201cOff the Vine<\/a>\u201d podcast that nothing \u201cbad happened\u201d between the Bachelor Nation stars, they just simply grew apart<\/a> over time.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never respected someone more through a breakup than I do with Jason,\u201d Bristowe shared, noting that \u201cWe have both not made each other a priority. And this is what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cWe are both so sad. You think you\u2019re going to spend your life with somebody. \u2026 I don\u2019t want to sit here and cry,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re grieving a loss.\u201d<\/p>\n Tartick, meanwhile, addressed the split during an episode of his \u201cTrading Secrets<\/a>\u201d podcast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs some of you might know, Kaitlyn and I have shared our relationship news that we are ending our engagement tonight<\/a>,\u201d he said. \u201cSo the intro will be short, it will be sweet. \u2026 I\u2019m not going to provide news at this time given what\u2019s happening in my life. It\u2019s been a little bit of a challenge today and tonight. When I\u2019m prepared and feel ready to talk through how these things also impact my life, what\u2019s next for me, I will share those.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the pair calling it quits, Tartick has continued to gush over Bristowe via social media. \u201cI will forever be grateful for this beautiful person that was brought into my life<\/a>,\u201d he captioned a throwback photo via Instagram on August 6, adding in a separate upload, \u201cThank you for the support and love over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n Bristowe and Tartick began dating in January 2019, two months after Bristowe and Shawn Booth<\/strong> <\/a>ended their three-year engagement.
