Jamie Lynn Spears<\/b><\/a> seemingly reacted to Britney Spears<\/b><\/a>\u2019 split from her now-estranged husband, Sam Asghari<\/b><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Jamie Lynn, 32, \u201cliked\u201d \u2014 then \u201cunliked\u201d \u2014 an Instagram post about Britney, 41, and Sam\u2019s separation on Wednesday, August 16, according to multiple outlets. The Zoey 101<\/i> alum<\/a>\u2019s reported online activity came just hours after a source exclusively told Life & Style <\/i><\/a>that the \u201cGimme More\u201d artist and Sam, 29, were headed for a divorce.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt was never perfect, but the relationship started to crumble after they got married,\u201d the insider revealed. \u201cBritney would switch from hot to cold in an instant. One minute, she loves and adores Sam, kissing and hugging him, and the next minute, he\u2019s the enemy.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The source also described how the Spears-Asghari household has been, noting that Britney would \u201cscream at him that he was a con man, that he fooled her into believing that he cared about her.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s gotten really ugly,\u201d the insider added. \u201cI\u2019d say Sam has definitely endured abusive behavior. There\u2019s no going back at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n Speculation over Britney and Sam\u2019s marriage<\/a> swirled since the beginning of the year. However, the personal trainer shut down split rumors multiple times. She captioned the clip, \u201cI feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me everyday!!\u201d<\/p>\n Sam and Britney first met in 2016 and dated for nearly five years before announcing their engagement. They tied the knot in June 2022 at an intimate yet star-studded wedding in Los Angeles. Friends such as Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a>, Drew Barrymore<\/strong><\/a> and Madonna<\/strong><\/a> attended the event, but Jamie was reportedly not invited to her sister\u2019s nuptials.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As for the two famous sisters, Jamie Lynn and Britney have had a complicated relationship for years. Previously, the \u201cWomanizer\u201d songstress slammed the former Nickelodeon star multiple times on Twitter and Instagram in since-deleted posts. Most of the accusations involved Britney\u2019s past conservatorship, which she was placed under by her and Jamie Lynn\u2019s father, Jamie Spears<\/b>, in Februay 2008. Nearly twelve years later, Britney successfully argued to terminate the conservatorship, and a judge granted the request in November 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Jamie, however, maintained a positive attitude when it came to her older sister.
