Princess Kate<\/strong><\/a> opened up about how she balances exercise<\/a> with her busy schedule of royal engagements, motherhood and more.<\/p>\n The 40-year-old duchess hosted an event<\/a> for the England Wheelchair Rugby League team on Thursday, January 19, at Hampton Court Palace to celebrate their Rugby League World Cup Final victory in November 2022. When one of the athletes asked Kate how she stays fit, she described her unconventional workouts<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s running around after the children \u2014 I do it all,\u201d she explained, according to the U.K.\u2019s Daily Mirror<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWhenever I can squeeze in exercise I do, even jumping on the trampoline with my children before school.\u201d<\/p>\n The Princess of Wales shares sons Prince George<\/a>, 9, and Prince Louis<\/a>, 4, with husband Prince William<\/strong><\/a>, along with daughter Princess Charlotte<\/a>, 7. While chatting with the rugby champs on Thursday, Kate hinted that her family has a competitive edge<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re always slightly competitive with each other. They all love sport and Louis is mad about rugby,\u201d she said. \u201cThey are at an age where they just love running around.\u201d<\/p>\n Kate\u2019s latest royal engagement comes amid continued tension with Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a>, whose book Spare<\/em><\/a> dropped major allegations about his relatives<\/a> \u2014 Kate included \u2014 when it hit shelves earlier this month.<\/p>\n In one excerpt, the Duke of Sussex, 38, recounted an apparent miscommunication<\/a> between Kate and Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> before he and the Suits<\/em> alum, 41, exchanged vows in May 2018. The Duchess of Cambridge had concerns about the fit of Charlotte\u2019s bridesmaid dress<\/a> \u2014 and she didn\u2019t hold back her criticism.<\/p>\n \u201cCharlotte\u2019s dress is too big, too long, too baggy,\u201d Kate claimed in a text to her now-sister-in-law, per Harry\u2019s recollection. \u201cShe cried when she tried it on at home.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bench<\/em> author, meanwhile, reminded Kate that a tailor was available<\/a> for the wedding party to use. \u201cCan you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?\u201d Meghan replied.<\/p>\n The confrontation left Meghan in tears \u2014 despite reports in the U.K. tabloids at the time that she made Kate cry.
