Comedian Jared Freid<\/strong> joins Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s \u201cHere for the Right Reasons\u201d podcast<\/a> to recap Charity Lawson<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Men Tell All<\/em> \u2014 and isn\u2019t afraid to joke about the flaws in the reunion special.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never been a Men Tell All \/ Women Tell<\/em> All fan. Bloopers? I hate them,\u201d he declared. \u201cI hate them because I don\u2019t want these people in on the joke. It\u2019s really not a good play \u2014 it\u2019s not from a good place that I don\u2019t like the bloopers. It\u2019s me being like, \u2018No, you don\u2019t get to laugh at yourself. No, we laugh at you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n When talking about Charity\u2019s contestant Sean<\/strong> asking for the seat next to the season 20 lead, Freid quipped: \u201cThe whole Sean thing was cringe-worthy. You\u2019re watching this guy. You\u2019re like, \u2018I know what you\u2019re doing, you want your moment \u2014 you\u2019re allowed to have your moment if we want to hear about your moments. You would have been on the couch if we want to join the couch!\u201d<\/p>\n For Freid, \u201cvillain\u201d Brayden was a standout.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think Brandon\u2019s told one lie,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve actually appreciated him the whole season. He\u2019s kind of old school, like, reality TV to me. He came in totally himself for what he wanted to be.\u201d<\/p>\n Freid\u2019s passion for The Bachelor<\/em> has prompted his pals to suggest the show as an option for him to find The One \u2014 a concept he pokes fun at in his new Netflix special, which started streaming on Tuesday, August 15.<\/p>\n \u201cHow about you fix me up with your friend from college? A better option than your college friend that you talk to every day that\u2019s single!\u201d he said. \u201cI talked about The Bachelor<\/em> a little bit and really relating it to [the] reality [of dating] because that\u2019s how we watch the show. We put ourselves in the shoes of the person going through whatever they\u2019re going through, and we go, \u2018How would I have handled it?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Other topics covered in the special include breakups, dating apps, gender reveal parties and body issues.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really a snapshot of my life [in] December 2022 and the frustrations that I think are relatable for anyone that\u2019s single at really any adult age,\u201d Freid noted. \u201cI really am proud of it. I want people to go enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n 37 and Single<\/em> is streaming now.
