\nErrol Musk spoke out as the two tech billionaires were mocked online by critics for sharing the world\u2019s most pathetic \u201ctrash talk\u201d over the fight, which has been dragging on for months without a date set.<\/p>\n
\nHe told The US Sun about how he believed the clash first proposed by Elon, who has rebranded Twitter X after buying it last year for $44 billion: \u201cIt\u2019s to get publicity for X. Elon\u2019s not faking it, just drawing attention to X.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cA fight would be silly. It\u2019s so high school and banal. Whatever Elon is doing here is far removed from his immediate tasks.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cPeople probably ask him about this fight thing. What must he say? \u2018No?\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat would look pretty poor. What can he say?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nErrol\u2019s comments also came amid increasingly bizarre behaviour from Elon, 52, who has claimed he had arrived uninvited outside his billionaire rival Mark\u2019s home on Monday (14.08.23) for a practice bout in his back yard.<\/p>\n
\nIt remains unclear if Mark, 39, opened the door to the Tesla boss, even though he has repeatedly accepted Elon\u2019s Octagon face-off challenge.<\/p>\n
\nDad-of-10 Elon leaked his private messages with Mark over the weekend after sending a screenshot of their latest exchange to biographer Walter Isaacson \u2013 in which he urged his tech rival to accept a warm-up bout.<\/p>\n
\nBut father-of-three Mark has told the X boss to get serious over the fight or move on.<\/p>\n
\nElon said on X about apparently calling at Mark\u2019s house: \u201cIf we get lucky and Zuck my (tongue emoji) actually answers the door, the fight is on!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this month, Elon revealed he was planning to fight Mark in Rome.<\/p>\n
\nElon said on X: \u201cThe fight will be managed by my and Zuck\u2019s foundations (not UFC.)<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLivestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEverything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy. And all proceeds go to veterans. And paediatric hospitals in Italy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nUFC boss Dana White, 54, recently claimed that a proposed fight between the business rivals could generate as much as $1 billion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
