The \u2018New Girl\u2019 actress, 43, has been dating the \u2018Property Brothers\u2019 host, 45, in 2019, and announced on her Instagram on Monday (14.08.23) she\u2019s now his bride-to bed. <\/p>\n
She captioned a selfie of her flashing her diamond engagement ring and cuddling up to Jonathan with the caption: \u201cForever starts now!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
Her band features three colourful stones in a flower pattern. <\/p>\n
Jonathan popped the question on Sunday (13.08.23) during a family vacation in Scotland, according to People. <\/p>\n
\nThe outlet added Zooey\u2019s daughter Elsie, eight, and son Charlie, six, who she had with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, 51, played a role in organising the special moment. <\/p>\n
\nZooey and Jonathan first met while they were filming an episode of James Corden\u2019s \u2018Carpool Karaoke\u2019 with their siblings, Emily Deschanel and Drew Scott. <\/p>\n
\nThe pair were then spotted holding hands the following month, one week after Zooey revealed she was splitting from Jacob, who she married in 2015. <\/p>\n
\nThey confirmed their romance in October 2019 when they shared a kiss during a taping of \u2018Dancing with the Stars\u2019. <\/p>\n
\nThe pair\u2019s bond strengthened during the Covid lockdowns, and spent them sharing glimpses into their lives with fans on social media including at-home haircuts. <\/p>\n
\nZooey called her beau the most \u201ckind, caring, hilarious, generous, creative, nerdy, handsome and all around incredible human\u201d in a tribute for their first anniversary, which came amid the pandemic. <\/p>\n
\nShe said on Instagram: \u201cI am so grateful for every smile, kiss, hug, snuggle, laugh, scrabble game, escape room, breakfast, lunch and dinner we share together. <\/p>\n

\nJonathan said on \u2018Entertainment Tonight\u2019 in August 2021 about the actress: \u201cWe just celebrated our second anniversary \u2026 and I know I am dating up.\u201d <\/p>\n
