Gwen Stefani<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 17-year-old son, Kingston, proved he inherited his mother\u2019s singing chops during a surprise performance at his stepdad Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s bar.<\/p>\n Kingston surprised guests at Shelton\u2019s Ole Red bar and music venue in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, on Friday, August 11. Stefani\u2019s eldest channeled her stage presence and confidently addressed the crowd before he began to sing. (Stefani, 53, also shares sons Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9<\/a>, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re in a great spot,\u201d Kingston told Ole Red patrons in a clip of his performance shared via TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n Following a round of applause, Kingston wrapped up his set by sharing his appreciation for the crowd. \u201cLove you guys. Thank you for being here, thank you,\u201d he said before accepting a proud hug from Shelton, 47. \u201cIt means everything to me, really. I hope you guys have a great night and enjoy yourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n Shelton and Stefani wed in 2021<\/a>. Stefani praised his parenting skills<\/a> two years before the couple tied the knot, calling him a \u201cgood dad\u201d during a September 2019 appearance on Today<\/em><\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s been helping me out a lot,\u201d she noted. \u201cI literally get to the point where I\u2019m like, \u2018You\u2019ve got to get home. Come help!\u2019 It\u2019s hard. I have three boys.\u201d<\/p>\n Shelton \u2014 who departed his longtime role as a coach<\/a> on NBC\u2019s The Voice<\/em><\/a> earlier this year \u2014 previously announced that he was prioritizing his role as a stepdad<\/a> over his career. \u201cLook, I love music and I love The Voice<\/em>. I love all the cool things I get to do with my job, but those things all take a backseat now to Gwen and the kids and it\u2019s just a new phase of my life,\u201d he explained to Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> in August 2022.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Stefani and her sons showed their support for Shelton by posing for family photos at the country star\u2019s Hollywood Walk of Fame induction<\/a>. Stefani honored her husband with a heartfelt speech<\/a> during the May 12 ceremony, during which she called him both \u201cpart of the American dream\u201d and also her \u201cdream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cThere is no one more authentic than this guy. He lives and he breathes country music. He is a country music jukebox and it is his DNA. He was born to do this and hasn\u2019t done anything because he wanted to be a star.
