Netflix\u2019s The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On<\/em><\/a> proved to be just as dramatic as Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> \u2026 if not more so!<\/p>\n The reality TV series featured six couples<\/a> \u2014 Alexis<\/strong> and Hunter<\/strong><\/a>, Lauren<\/strong> and Nate<\/strong>, April<\/strong> and Jake<\/strong>, Madlyn<\/strong> and Colby<\/strong><\/a>, Shanique<\/strong> and Randall<\/strong> and Rae<\/strong> and Zay<\/strong> \u2014 participating in an experiment that put their relationships to the ultimate test.<\/p>\n One person in each of the couples gave their partner an ultimatum to get engaged or to break up. From there, the couples switched partners for four weeks to partake in a trial marriage. After four weeks with their fake partner, the couples switched back to their original partners to see if absence really does make the heart grow fonder.<\/p>\n Contestant Rae, who gave her boyfriend of two and a half years, Zay, the ultimatum spoke exclusively with In Touch<\/em> about what the initial stages of the experiment felt like, including what it was like to live with contestant Jake as her mock partner.<\/p>\n \u201cActually, there\u2019s a period in the middle when you\u2019re just by yourself. When you\u2019re dating everybody, you are alone every night with your thoughts, you know, to think about like the dates and how they went,\u201d Rae explains. \u201cI went from my relationship to saying goodbye to him to a week by myself to then moving in with Jake to then literally moving out with Jake \u2014 and then moving back in \u2026\u00a0 let\u2019s say it was a whirlwind of emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n Rae went on to admit she had some reservations about switching partners. \u201cI was very anxious to live with one of the other guys. It\u2019s very uncomfortable, you know, sharing a bed with someone new,\u201d she says. \u201cJake and I slept very separately.\u201d<\/p>\n Jake\u2019s original partner, April, who ended up switching with contestant Colby, also spoke exclusively with In Touch<\/em> to weigh in on how the cast feels about each other today. Are they all besties just like the Love Is Blind<\/em> season 2 cast \u2026 ?<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like the<\/span>re was never animosity against one on one people, but we have this family ultimate group chat called \u2018The<\/span> Crew\u2019 with social events. I always have like, \u2018Hey, we\u2019re gonna do this in Austin. Let\u2019s all get together.\u2019 It\u2019s really cool,\u201d April dishes. \u201cIt honestly feels like a family. When you realize like, \u2018Hey, we went through this all together. We all went through this s\u2013t together for the<\/span> first season.
