Ireland<\/strong> explained. \u201cI\u2019m sharing my inner most feelings with the hope that someone will read this and feel less alone. I came across various posts and videos where people were just f\u2013king honest about how hard this journey can be and it\u2019s helped so much.\u201d<\/p>\nShe continued, \u201cPregnancy is hard. It takes so much out of you. I wasn\u2019t ready for that. I\u2019ve always wanted a baby with the right person. I grew up with a very jaded perception of what love really looked like and I always wanted to have a child of my own with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally. Relationships are hard. Break ups are very hard. Losing a job. Losing a loved one. Getting sick. All of that is extremely difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ireland<\/strong> then went on to detail some of the struggles she\u2019s faced so far in her pregnancy.<\/p>\n\u201cBut I underestimated just how hard pregnancy would be on my mind and my body. Being some who deal with extreme health anxiety on a daily basis, pregnancy turned things into a high gear,\u201d Ireland<\/strong> explained. \u201cI\u2019ve struggled to adapt to these changes. Bodily sensations. Pains and aches. Organs going to s\u2013t randomly. I know everyone has an entirely different experience and mine is easy compared to most, but f\u2013k it\u2019s a struggle.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s so hard to have so much pressure on yourself. Forget the physical aspect\u2026 I feel like my brain and thoughts are going to war every single day,\u201d Ireland<\/strong> continued. \u201cMental warfare. \u2018Just wait till the baby gets here, you won\u2019t be getting any sleep,\u2019 bitch, I don\u2019t sleep now. SHUT UP. I\u2019m exhausted. I\u2019m unmotivated. I feel like life is passing by and my career hasn\u2019t even begun.\u201d<\/p>\nIreland <\/strong>also admitted she\u2019s having a hard time being on social media while pregnant.<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s hard coming on here and seeing mutuals dressing up for events, getting drinks, working on sets, going to school. It\u2019s hard feeling alone. I have my boyfriend who without him, I think I would have lost my mind,\u201d Ireland<\/strong> wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s hard not being really close to family to begin with because they live far or are idiots that I want nothing to do with. It\u2019s hard seeing other people go through this and have their parents close by.\u201d<\/p>\nIreland<\/strong> continued, \u201cIt\u2019s even harder watching some of your friends fade away or not know how to relate to you anymore. Especially when you were nothing to them but a drinking buddy and a good time. It\u2019s hard making new friends at 27 years old. It\u2019s hard keeping old ones close when they\u2019re so far away. It\u2019s hard when your closes friends have their own s\u2013t going on and you don\u2019t know when\u2019s a good to to emotionally dump on them. This s\u2013t is hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cWhen people expect you to be glowing and angelic and in a constant state of bliss,\u201d Ireland<\/strong> added. \u201cIt\u2019s unrealistic sometimes. I\u2019m a goblin. A bridge troll. A curmudgeon. The glow is my skincare routine. It couldn\u2019t be the vomiting 6x a day.\u201d<\/p>\nIreland<\/strong> concluded her post with a message to her unborn daughter.<\/p>\n\u201cAnd even through all of this, none of this reflects on how excited I am to be her mom. My career isn\u2019t going anywhere and if it is, f\u2013k it,\u201d Ireland<\/strong> wrote. \u201cthe friends that mattered most will be there and you\u2019ll have room for new friendships. All of this is still worth it but it\u2019s ok to admit how hard and scary it all can be. You are not alone.\u201d<\/p>\nAlong with her message, Ireland<\/strong> captioned the post, \u201cThis s\u2013t is HARD. And you\u2019re not alone if you feel the same. And it\u2019s ok to be REAL and post highlight reels. It\u2019s ok to be happy and sad at the same time.
