Friendships always come and go on The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em><\/a>, but Heather Dubrow<\/strong><\/a> might be ready to stop trying with costar Shannon Beador<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTonight\u2019s episode is interesting because there\u2019s this whole narrative<\/a> that I am talking about Shannon\u2019s relationship,\u201d Heather, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> ahead of the Wednesday, August 9, installment of RHOC<\/em>. \u201cWell, do you ever see me talking about Shannon\u2019s relationship? I really haven\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n During the August 2 episode of the show, Tamra Judge<\/strong><\/a> claimed that Heather was spreading a bombshell rumor about Shannon\u2019s then-boyfriend, John Janssen<\/strong><\/a>, but Heather told Us<\/em> that wasn\u2019t the case.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not talking about Shannon\u2019s relationship,\u201d Heather said. \u201cEveryone talks about<\/a> Shannon\u2019s relationship. And the person that talks about Shannon\u2019s relationship the most is Shannon.\u201d<\/p>\n Heather went on to describe the whole situation as \u201csilly,\u201d adding that there would be no reason for her to insult Shannon, 59, behind her back. \u201cWhy would I do that to her?\u201d Heather wondered. \u201cWe hung out so much before this season. In between seasons, we hung out so much, and we would run into each other. We\u2019d end up having dinner, we\u2019d hang out. I loved it. I really did. And I really enjoyed her friendship. And you\u2019ll see throughout the second half of the season, I tried very hard to prove my friendship to her and to try to get back on track with her. I tried many times. \u2026 I don\u2019t think she\u2019s interested, and I\u2019ve tried so many times at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n Shannon revealed in January that John \u201cblindsided\u201d her<\/a> with their breakup, but they were still together when the current season of RHOC<\/em> filmed. During last week\u2019s episode, Shannon wasn\u2019t happy to hear that her relationship was a topic of conversation, and Heather isn\u2019t entirely sure why.<\/p>\n \u201cI understand not wanting your relationship to be scrutinized,\u201d Heather explained to Us<\/em>. \u201cI understand why it\u2019s upsetting to her, but I mean, a couple things. First of all, we are on a show where we talk about our lives, our friendships, each other\u2019s lives. And I said this in the episode, but there is a difference between talking about someone and talking against someone.\u201d<\/p>\n For Heather, it feels like Shannon is determined to ignore any friendly overtures. \u201cShe\u2019s not very into me,\u201d Heather said. \u201cShe does not care for me. I really care about Shannon and I just want her to be happy. And that\u2019s all I ever wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n Even though Shannon and John are no longer together, Heather isn\u2019t interested in saying \u201cI told you so\u201d to her costar. \u201cI don\u2019t want an apology,\u201d Heather told Us<\/em>. \u201cI don\u2019t need an apology. Literally, I just want her to be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n Shannon told Us<\/em> in June that she and John are \u201cnot getting back together,\u201d but she claimed they were \u201cfriendly\u201d<\/a> after not speaking for several months following their split. \u201cNeither one of us are dating anyone,\u201d she noted at the time, adding that it\u2019s \u201chard\u201d to watch her former relationship play out on screen.<\/p>\n In January, Shannon claimed that it was John\u2019s decision to end their four-year romance<\/a>. \u201cI was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with,\u201d she told People<\/em>. \u201cI wanted it to work out. I\u2019ve never loved anyone like I\u2019ve loved John.
