Amy Robach<\/strong><\/a> and T. J. Holmes<\/strong><\/a> are ready to put the scandalous days of their romance<\/a> behind them \u2014 and they\u2019re thinking about the next steps.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re in a good place,\u201d an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em> of Robach, 50, and Holmes, 45. \u201cThey\u2019re moving on from all the negative around the affair and looking toward the future together.\u201d<\/p>\n The source adds that Robach and Holmes \u201care very happy and laying low\u201d months after going public<\/a>. \u201cNow the plan is they do want to move in together and get engaged,\u201d the insider continues.<\/p>\n Holmes and Robach \u2014 who previously worked together at Good Morning America<\/em><\/a> \u2014 first made headlines with their romance in November 2022 when they were photographed getting cozy outside the office. At the time, they were both married to other people. The duo went on hiatus from GMA3: What You Need to Know<\/em> amid the drama.<\/p>\n In December 2022, Holmes filed for divorce from Marilee Fiebig<\/strong><\/a>, whom he wed in 2010. The pair share daughter Sabine, 10. (Holmes also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex Amy Ferson<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n One month later, Holmes and Robach officially exited GMA<\/em><\/a> several weeks after Us<\/em> broke the news of their departure. \u201cAfter several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, about different options, we all agreed it\u2019s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,\u201d ABC said in a statement in January. \u201cWe recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the insider, the twosome are still looking for their next project after their exit from GMA<\/em>. \u201cThey are still getting paid severance by ABC,\u201d the source explains. \u201cSo, they\u2019re in no rush to get another show. But they\u2019re still pitching shows and would like to work together.\u201d<\/p>\n In April, an insider told Us<\/em> that the pair have been \u201cpitching themselves as a duo\u201d while looking for their next gig<\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019ve pitched a reality show, docuseries and daytime talk show, all of which they know will be popular and people will watch,\u201d the source explained. \u201cAmy has said whatever they do, this is about real love and they\u2019re in it together.\u201d<\/p>\n Before her romance with Holmes, Robach was married to Andrew Shue<\/strong><\/a>, whom she wed in 2010<\/a>. Robach is the stepmother<\/a> of Shue\u2019s sons, Nate, Aidan and Wyatt, whom Shue, 56, shares with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney<\/strong>.
