Usher<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is speaking out about the moment\u00a0Keke Palmer<\/strong><\/a> joined him on stage during performance while he serenaded her with \u201cThere Goes My Baby\u201d as she wore a sheer dress<\/a>. It caused her boyfriend, Darius Daulton Jackson<\/strong><\/a>, to outfit shame her publicly on social media the following day. He tweeted, \u201cIt\u2019s the outfit tho \u2026 you a mom,\u201d alongside the video of his partner and the singer.<\/p>\n \u201cI think everybody\u2019s vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas. And that\u2019s what I hope came out of it,\u201d Usher, 44, shared on\u00a0August 4. He added, \u201cRather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEvery night I\u2019m thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I\u2019ll have with whoever I\u2019m choosing to sing to,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don\u2019t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.\u201d<\/p>\n Keke\u2019s romance with her boyfriend of three years ended up on shaky ground after he called her out for wearing a black bodysuit with a see-through sheath over it. Not only did Darius, 29, not publicly apologize for the comment about her dress, he doubled down on saying it was over the top for someone who is a mom. Keke, 29, gave birth<\/a> to the couple\u2019s first child, son Leodis \u201cLeo\u201d Andrellton Jackson, on February 25, 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cWe live in a generation where a man of the family doesn\u2019t want the wife [and] mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others [and] he gets told how much of a hater he is,\u201d he tweeted on July 5, adding, \u201cThis is my family [and] my representation. I have standards [and] morals to what I believe. I rest my case.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Nope<\/em> star appeared to respond to Darius\u2019 comments<\/a> without mentioning him directly. Hours after his post, she shared a series of Instagram<\/a>\u00a0 photos showing off her dress. \u201cI wish I had taken more pictures, but we were running late!\u201d she captioned the snapshots, adding, \u201cI am telling y\u2019all right now, if you haven\u2019t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too!
