Ashanti<\/strong><\/a> and Nelly<\/strong><\/a> seem to be letting fans know that they\u2019re taking things at their own pace.<\/p>\n On Monday, August 7, Nelly, 48 \u2014 who dated Ashanti, 42, from 2003 to 2013 \u2014 once again sparked dating speculation by sharing an Instagram Story video of the hip-hop stars singing to Usher\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> \u201cNice & Slow.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI just want to take it nice and slow,\u201d Nelly and Ashanti croon in the video, as the \u201cFoolish\u201d singer rests her head on his. \u201cSee I\u2019ve been waiting for this for so long.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe on my bro shyt,\u201d the rapper captioned the post.<\/p>\n The duo first sparked reconciliation rumors in April when they were spotted holding hands at a boxing match<\/a> in Las Vegas. Two months later, the pair attended the 3rd Annual Birthday Ball for Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas<\/strong> in Atlanta, where they posed with their arms around each other.<\/p>\n Nelly and Ashanti first met in 2003 at a Grammy Awards press conference, keeping their romantic relationship close to the vest for the next 10 years. Instead, the duo\u2019s public-facing persona was nothing more than collaborators and friends. In 2008, the twosome released two duets together: \u201cBody on Me\u201d and \u201cSwitch.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2010, Nelly told Rap-Up TV<\/a> that the two were wedded to their careers.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m married to my work. I\u2019m married to getting things into a certain situation,\u201d he explained at the time. \u201c[Ashanti\u2019s] married to getting things into a certain situation right now.
