In another WTF move by Elon Musk<\/a><\/strong>, Kanye West<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s account has been reinstated on Twitter<\/a> after an almost eight-month ban over offensive tweets.<\/p>\n Ye was accused of violating the platform\u2019s rules prohibiting incitement to violence. West has agreed to refrain from posting antisemitic and other hateful content.<\/p>\n He has not posted anything new since returning to the site, which owner Elon Musk has rebranded to X<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ye\u2019s account now shows his last post on 1 December 2022, a day before it was suspended.<\/p>\n Musk said at the time that Ye had \u201cviolated our rule against incitement to violence\u201d and that the account would be suspended.<\/p>\n It came after the musician posted a series of offensive tweets \u2013 one of which appeared to show a symbol combining a swastika and the Star of David.<\/p>\n The suspension followed a similar ban two months earlier when Ye was initially locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts after posting anti-Semitic messages in October. Both platforms removed his posts.<\/p>\n In the same month, clothing giant Adidas cut ties with the rapper, saying it did \u201cnot tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech\u201d.<\/p>\n Ye was also suspended from Instagram for 24 hours in March last year after using a racial slur about comedian Trevor Noah<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/socialitelife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/kanye-west-photos-07082020-01-1160x1645.jpg\")
