Terry Dubrow<\/strong><\/a> is just as surprised as fans by his wife Heather Dubrow<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s sudden disconnect with the rest of The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em><\/a> cast.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know why Heather seemed to get so isolated from the group,\u201d Terry, 64, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/em>while promoting season 8 of E!\u2019s Botched<\/em>. \u201cI know that Heather is one of the most caring, wonderful, unfortunately sensitive people you could ever meet. But she\u2019s got so much love and so much absence of hate that it\u2019s unfortunate that she feels and felt isolated.\u201d<\/p>\n Terry confessed: \u201cHopefully as the season goes on, things will get a little bit better. They\u2019ve got some very serious things to work through at the reunion.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this summer, Shannon Beador<\/strong><\/a> teased what Heather, 54, was up against while they filmed season 17 of RHOC<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think at times [Heather] had people behind her but for the most part \u2026 she was on her own,\u201d Shannon, 59, exclusively told Us<\/em> in June before pointing out, \u201cBy the way, I\u2019ve been out on that island many times by myself and it isn\u2019t fun. I will admit that it\u2019s not a fun journey.\u201d<\/p>\n It has become clear throughout the season that one of Heather\u2019s major advisories is Tamra Judge<\/strong><\/a>. During a July episode of the Bravo show, Gina Kirschenheiter<\/strong> <\/a>stirred the pot claiming that Tamra, 55, was talking behind Heather\u2019s back and allegedly \u201cmaligning\u201d Heather\u2019s career<\/a>.<\/p>\n Terry confirmed to Us<\/em>\u00a0that Heather and Tamra are \u201cin a tough spot\u201d after their ups and downs during filming.<\/p>\n \u201cI know they\u2019ve been texting,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd I can tell you something, there is a lot of \u2014 at the base of their relationship \u2014 there\u2019s pure love.\u201d<\/p>\n Terry reiterated that \u201cthere is a lot to work through\u201d between Heather and Tamra. \u201cI\u2019m hoping they can figure it out and go back to where they were, because they are fundamentally really, really nice people and really good friends,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n Ahead of the season 17 RHOC<\/em> premiere, Heather and Terry made headlines in fall 2022<\/a> when rumors surfaced that Terry was unfaithful. Noella Bergener<\/strong><\/a> later claimed that Tamra was behind the cheating allegations, which Tamra denied during BravoCon in October 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n Heather, for her part, shut down the affair rumors in September 2022. \u201cThis is not true, on any level,\u201d she replied to an Instagram post at the time.<\/p>\n Despite their drama on screen, Tamra told fans at BravoCon that she and Heather were \u201ccurrently on good terms.\u201d She described their dynamic as \u201clike a sister relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em> airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
