Celine Dion<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s sister has said the family cannot find any medicine to treat the singer suffering from stiff person syndrome. Claudette Dion<\/strong>, however, said it is essential to \u201chave hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

Celine shared her diagnosis with fans in December 2022, saying in an Instagram post that she decided to cancel the Courage World Tour<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you\u2019re 100%,\u201d the singer had said.<\/p>\n

Sharing an update about her health, Claudette Dion told Le Journal de Montreal<\/a><\/em> that her sister, Linda, has moved into Celine\u2019s home, where she lives with her three sons, Rene-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I call her and she\u2019s busy, I speak to my sister Linda who lives with her and tells me that she\u2019s working hard,\u201d Claudette said in the interview. \u201cShe\u2019s listening to the top researchers in the field of this rare disease as much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her sister also said that the choice to cancel the tour was right, and the powerhouse singer needs to rest.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe always goes above and beyond, she always tries to be the best and top of her game,\u201d said Claudette Dion. \u201cAt one point, your heart and your body are trying to tell you something. It\u2019s important to listen to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s innate to her, she\u2019s disciplined in every area of her life,\u201d she further said. \u201cWe can\u2019t find any medicine that works, but having hope is important.\u201d<\/p>\n
