Sammi \u201cSweetheart\u201d Giancola<\/strong><\/a> is shedding more light on her past beef with Jersey Shore<\/em> <\/a>costar Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Sammi, 36, declined to participate<\/a> when the MTV franchise was rebooted as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em> <\/a>in 2018. She further distanced herself from her Jersey Shore<\/em> days by temporarily blocking Snooki<\/a>, 35, on social media because she thought Snooki was stealing her business idea, which she later realized wasn\u2019t true.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Nicole totally worked through our issues,\u201d Sammi exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Thursday, August 3, while promoting season 6B of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em>, which premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.<\/p>\n Sammi went on to explain that when Snooki opened a shop location in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, she thought Snooki was \u201cdoing something similar\u201d to what she\u2019d done with her Sweetheart Coast storefront on the Ocean City, New Jersey boardwalk. \u201cBut that was not the case,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, in the end, I actually was wrong and I told her, \u2018I\u2019m sorry. I know you weren\u2019t trying to copy off me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The Sweetheart Styles founder \u2014 who will make her return to reality TV<\/a> after an 11-year hiatus in season 6B of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em> \u2014 added that her decision to \u201cexclude herself\u201d from the friend group for a while was a \u201cpersonal thing\u201d that had \u201cnothing to do with\u201d her costars.<\/p>\n \u201cThey just didn\u2019t understand why I did that. So, it was just definitely miscommunication, which you\u2019ll see all go down when we see each other again [on the show],\u201d she said after noting that she didn\u2019t blame the group for being upset with her. \u201cI really had to block some things out<\/a> of my life in order to move forward or move in a different direction. So, I kind of get why they might be upset.\u201d<\/p>\n Snooki and Jennifer \u201cJWoww\u201d Farley<\/strong><\/a>, meanwhile, shared how they felt about the situation during a Tuesday, August 2, interview with Page Six<\/em><\/a>. \u201cShe owned it and I got over it quick,\u201d JWoww, 37, said. \u201cWe were hurt and confused [at the time], but \u2026 we\u2019re so happy to have her back and be able to move on from that.\u201d<\/p>\n Snooki added that she and Sammi had a \u201cnice conversation\u201d about their store drama. \u201cI\u2019m not the type of woman to compete against my friends by opening other stores,\u201d she said. \u201cNo one was copying anyone. And we\u2019re all allowed to open stores. Like, no one should be upset about that. It\u2019s, like, little kid stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to reconnecting with Snooki and JWoww, Sammi also crossed paths with ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro<\/strong><\/a> while filming the new season. She told Us<\/em> that while working with Ronnie<\/a>, 37, again was \u201cdefinitely nerve-wracking,\u201d she went into the experience knowing she could \u201chandle it.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair dated on and off from 2009 to 2014, and the OG Jersey Shore<\/em> documented the ups and downs of their rocky relationship<\/a>. Ronnie previously announced that he was stepping back<\/a> from the MTV franchise to focus on his mental health in May 2021, one month after he was arrested<\/a> and released on a $100,000 bond following a domestic violence dispute. He was ultimately not charged with a crime and returned to the show the following August.<\/p>\n Although Sammi told Us<\/em> that Ronnie is \u201cpart of the family too,\u201d she noted that they will \u201cprobably not\u201d be friends again. \u201cWe\u2019re coworkers.
