The former \u2018Suits\u2019 actress, who will celebrate her 42nd birthday on Friday (04.08.23), is said to have the @meghan handle, which already has 2,420 followers, despite the fact she has never actually posted anything.<\/p>\n
A source told Page Six she \u201cgot her own Instagram account \u2013 which features a placeholder image of pink flowers \u2013 just before she launched her now defunct Spotify podcast in August 2022\u201d.<\/p>\n
The outlet added Meghan has been in talks with a number of brands to work with and is apparently especially keen to sign with jewellers Cartier as she \u201cworks towards the future after signing with Hollywood agency WME\u201d.<\/p>\n
An insider added: \u201cMeghan was set to go live on Insta, but changed her mind shortly before she launched her \u2018Archetypes\u2019 podcast, so it\u2019s just sitting there now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeghan revealed she was toying with the idea of returning to social media in an interview with \u2018The Cut\u2019 in August 2022, saying: \u201cDo you want to know a secret? I\u2019m getting back\u2026 on Instagram.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRumours of her imminent Instagram return come after she and her husband Prince Harry, 38, presented a united front to the world in the face of widespread reports their marriage is in trouble.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple sat cosily side-by-side on Wednesday (02.08.23) for a video in support of the young people\u2019s foundation the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund after reports they have been spending time apart.<\/p>\n
\nAs they spoke about their two children, son Archie, four, and two-year-old daughter Lilibet, Harry said about the good cause: \u201cThank you for doing everything that you do. Our kids especially are incredibly grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeghan chimed in: \u201cThey don\u2019t know it yet, but they will.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe couple made the clip as their Archewell Foundation is on the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n
\nInsiders have denied widespread reports in the US the couple have been giving each other space.<\/p>\n
\nOne source insisted Page Six: \u201cIt\u2019s not true \u2013 it\u2019s literally made up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe reports the couple were taking time apart were spurred on by the fact Meghan has hardly returned to the UK since Megxit, and was not with Harry when he returned to Britain in May to see his father King Charles\u2019 coronation at London\u2019s Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n
\nA source told The Sun: \u201cHarry was desperate to come back for the Coronation and spend quality time with his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeghan stayed in their mansion in California for their boy Archie\u2019s fourth birthday.<\/p>\n
\nThe video comes after Harry and Meghan\u2019s big-money Spotify deal ended in June, while the Duke of Sussex\u2019s green travel project Travalyst made a major announcement about a huge revamp in May without mentioning him.<\/p>\n
\nTheir appearance also comes as it was announced the couple will attend the Invictus Games in D\u00fcsseldorf together next month for the events between September 9 and 16.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
