During the annual Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire, England, on July 14, Prince George<\/a>, Princess Charlotte<\/a> and Prince Louis were invited to climb inside a Royal Air Force C-17 for the ultimate VIP tour. As their parents, Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Kate<\/strong><\/a>, looked on, the future king and his siblings raised and lowered the plane\u2019s loading ramp, checked out the controls, and explored the nooks and crannies of the enormous aircraft. \u201cThe look of wonder on their faces,\u201d a royals insider tells Life & Style<\/em>, \u201cwas priceless.\u201d<\/p>\n And that\u2019s just one of many exciting adventures the Prince and Princess of Wales\u2019 children have experienced in recent weeks. In May, they were front and center at grandfather King Charles III<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s historic coronation<\/a>, then got to watch Katy Perry<\/strong><\/a> and Lionel Richie<\/strong><\/a> belt out their hits at a concert capping off the historic event. In June, Louis, 5, stole the show with his antics on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour<\/a>. And in July, two days after the air show, Charlotte, 8, made her Wimbledon debut alongside big brother George a week before he celebrated his 10th birthday. Kate and William, both 41, \u201care doing all they can to ensure the children have a wonderful time now that school\u2019s out,\u201d says the insider. \u201cIt\u2019s really shaping up to be George, Charlotte and Louis\u2019 best summer ever.\u201d<\/p>\n The Wimbledon Tennis Championship men\u2019s final on July 16 marked a big day for the eldest Wales kids. Though Louis was \u201cvery upset\u201d he didn\u2019t get to join them, Kate had shared, Charlotte and George \u2014 \u201cwho\u2019d been eagerly watching\u201d the earlier matches, Mom revealed \u2014 didn\u2019t let that stop them from cheering from their front-row seats in the Royal Box during a nail-biting five-set match between Carlos Alcaraz<\/strong> and Novak Djokovic<\/strong>. Charlotte also spent time chatting with tennis legend Chris Evert<\/strong>, who was seated behind her and later called the young princess \u201cabsolutely delightful!\u201d<\/p>\n The kids are also having fun away from the spotlight. \u201cThey\u2019ve been spending lots of time at Anmer Hall,\u201d their country home on the king\u2019s Sandringham estate, says the insider. \u201cKate regularly plays rugby in the back garden with the children \u2014 she plays all sports<\/a> with them,\u201d Nigel Gillingham<\/strong>, president of the Rugby Football Union, revealed in June, noting that Charlotte, like her mother, is \u201cvery competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n
