Hello (again), Wisconsin! The Forman family and friends are back for That \u201890s Show<\/em>, a sequel series to That \u201970s Show.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Debra Jo Rupp<\/strong> and Kurtwood Smith<\/strong> are full-time cast members<\/a> on the new sitcom, reprising their roles as Kitty and Red Forman, respectively, who take in their granddaughter for the summer. During season 1, Topher Grace<\/strong><\/a> (Eric), Laura Prepon<\/strong><\/a> (Donna), Ashton Kutcher<\/strong><\/a> (Kelso), Mila Kunis<\/strong><\/a> (Jackie) and Wilmer Valderrama<\/strong><\/a> (Fez) will make guest appearances. Since the filming of the original series wrapped in 2006, Kutcher and Kunis started dating, wed in 2015 and welcomed two kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo see them crashing into the kitchen, to see Ashton crashing \u2026 and Mila finding that really obnoxious little Jackie. That was fun,\u201d Rupp told E! News<\/em> earlier this month about working with the real-life couple again on the pilot.<\/p>\n

Kurtwood added, \u201cIt was just wonderful. I had seen them, so did Debra Jo, when we did The Ranch<\/em>. Mila would come around. So, we had seen them. But to see them on that set and especially exploding the way they do with their characters, that was really something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kutcher, for his part, called it \u201cfunny\u201d and \u201cweird\u201d to become Kelso again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was super nostalgic and really odd, like going back into the basement \u2014 just going back into the set was weird,\u201d he said on Entertainment Tonight<\/em> in July 2022. \u201cAnd then being around everyone, it\u2019s just bizarre. \u2026 The fact that that happened is insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an interview with Variety that same month, the Two and a Half Men<\/em> alum revealed that the pair contemplated the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought, \u2018Listen, we\u2019re only in the position that we\u2019re in because of that show, so let\u2019s just go back and do this.\u2019 We just went back and had fun for a week,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was so random and fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the January 2023 premiere, Kunis spoiled that her and her husband\u2019s characters are back together in the new show.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy husband and I are together \u2026 which is weird because we shouldn\u2019t have been,\u201d Kunis told Access Hollywood<\/em> in September 2022. \u201cYou know what, I called B.S. I was like, \u2018My character would be with Fez.\u2019 I think that I ended up with Wilmer\u2019s character. And I was like [to Ashton], \u2018Why are you and I together?\u2019 And also, he was married when \u201870s ended to Shannon Elizabeth<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s character, I think. \u2026 Now we\u2019re like 20 years \u2014 no, 16 years later, whatever it is, and now we\u2019re married with a kid. And I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know about this one.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

One OG cast member who does not appear in That \u201890s Show<\/em> is Danny Masterson<\/strong> <\/a>(Hyde), who is currently awaiting a retrial after a jury was deadlocked on three rape<\/a> charges against him at his first trial in November 2022. He has denied the allegations.<\/p>\n

That \u201890s Show<\/em> starts streaming on Netflix on Thursday, January 19.<\/p>\n
