Australian princess of pop Kylie Minogue<\/a><\/strong> is set to perform in her first Las Vegas residency later this year.<\/p>\n

On Friday (Jul. 28, 2023), the music superstar and Grammy award winner announced the news on Instagram and X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

\n

She is slated to perform a three-month run at luxury Las Vegas hotel The Venetian Resort in its cabaret-style nightclub Voltaire.<\/p>\n

Shows will start in November, with tickets available from August.<\/p>\n

According to Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>, the 17-time ARIA Award winner said she \u201ccouldn\u2019t be more excited\u201d during a Los Angeles press event for the residency.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday is the day where it all becomes beautifully real,\u201d Minogue said.<\/p>\n

Minogue had been planning these shows for three years, Entertainment Weekly said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo finally be able to say, yes, I am doing a show in Vegas and to be at Voltaire at the Venetian Resort, it\u2019s just, it\u2019s such a good match,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

It will be Minogue\u2019s first residency, despite having sold over 80 million records worldwide.<\/p>\n

Her latest song, \u201cPadam Padam,\u201d has over 44 million global streams since its release in May and has made its way into numerous top 10 charts worldwide.<\/p>\n

Her 16th album, Tension,<\/em> is set to be released in September.<\/p>\n

Minogue said the new album was a fusion of \u201cempowered dance floor bangers and sultry pop cuts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnlike my last two albums, there wasn\u2019t a \u2018theme\u2019, it was about finding the heart or the fun or the fantasy of that moment and always trying to service the song,\u201d she said of the new tracks.<\/p>\n

Minogue will join fellow Australian Keith Urban in Las Vegas, who is currently performing his Caesars Palace residency until the end of November.<\/p>\n
