\u201cThank you guys so much for all your kind words about me looking healthy. Really means a lot. Been a little over 5 months I believe and I\u2019m down almost 50lbs,\u201d the \u201cTequila\u201d musician wrote via Instagram Stories in October 2022.<\/p>\n

The Arkansas native noted that the secret to his slimdown was \u201ceating clean,\u201d<\/a> cutting out alcohol, \u201cwalking 7 miles a day\u201d and lifting some weights. \u201cThat\u2019s it! I completely changed my lifestyle and I\u2019ve never felt better physically, mentally and spiritually,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

In January 2023, Mooney posted a before and after photo<\/a> to show his progress.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsistency. I changed my entire world in six months. No gimmicks or fads. Just consistency. If that tired guy on the left can do it, so can you,\u201d the country crooner captioned the Instagram <\/a>snap.<\/p>\n

The Grammy winner has also received ample encouragement from his wife, Hannah Billingsley<\/strong><\/a>. The couple \u2014 who tied the knot in October 2017 and share sons Asher, born in January 2017, and Ames, born in February 2020 \u2014 are currently expecting their third child<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo proud of you, baby \u2026 and proud of the example you\u2019re setting for all our boys<\/a>, physically and spiritually,\u201d Billingsley captioned a December 2022 Instagram video of her baby bump dedicated to her husband. \u201cI\u2019ll meet ya at the gym roughly six weeks after this baby gets here \ud83d\ude02.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mooney, for his part, has expressed gratitude for having people in his corner who support his healthy lifestyle change.<\/p>\n
