Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> shared a cheeky<\/em> throwback to his film The Proposal<\/em> in honor of costar Sandra Bullock<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 59th birthday.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy Birthday to the inimitable and stunning Sandra Bullock! For your birthday this year, I got us both intimacy coordinators. And an HR department. And clothing?\u201d Reynolds, 46, captioned a Wednesday, July 26, Instagram clip<\/a> from the 2009 romantic comedy.<\/p>\n In the video, Reynolds and Bullock\u2019s characters accidentally fall on top of each other while they are both stark naked. Bullock previously opened up about her experience filming the NSFW scene<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cRyan and I have known each other<\/a> since we were prepubescent. We go way, way, way back,\u201d the actress said during a December 2021 appearance on Adam Ray<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cAbout Last Night\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cWe had to do the naked scene that day and Anne Fletcher<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 our director who\u2019s just incredible, she\u2019s great \u2014 had a closed set, which means no one\u2019s allowed to be on there, just hair and makeup coming in to fluff and hide. Ryan and I have these flesh-colored things stuck to our privates, my hair is strategically over the nipples and Ryan\u2019s little \u2014 not little, at all \u2014 It\u2019s just whatever\u2019s there, and I don\u2019t know because I didn\u2019t see it, I didn\u2019t look!\u201d<\/p>\n Bullock did note that at one point she heard Fletcher, 57, yell, \u201c\u2018Ryan, we can see your ball sack!\u2019\u201d and admitted that even though \u201cyou wanna look down,\u201d she didn\u2019t. \u201cIn friendship, you just didn\u2019t care. It wasn\u2019t my business to look,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The Oscar winner added that Reynolds, 46, was \u201cabsolutely unflappable\u201d and \u201cso cool\u201d about the situation.<\/p>\n Reynolds, for his part, has also gushed about working with Bullock<\/a>. \u201cI would love to do another movie with her,\u201d he told Access Hollywood<\/em> in April 2011. \u201cI would be a fool to say to no to that!\u201d<\/p>\n While the costars have undeniable chemistry onscreen<\/a>, they both have other romantic partners in their real lives.
