This is what you\u2019re not supposed to do on social media. Grammy-winning artist Doja Cat<\/a><\/strong> has found herself in hot water after scolding fans for calling themselves \u201ckittenz\u201d, telling them to \u201cget a job and help your parents with the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s common for fandoms to have names (see Rihanna<\/strong>\u2019s Navy, Nicki Minaj<\/strong>\u2019s Barbz, and the BTS<\/strong> Army), Doja Cat insisted that her fandom doesn\u2019t have one.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheKittenzWeb\u201d asked Doja Cat what they should change their name to instead, to which Doja replied, \u201cJust delete the entire account and rethink everything. It\u2019s never too late.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old rapper continued with more posts on Threads saying that people using her real name (Amala) in their usernames is \u201ccreepy as f-ck.\u201d Another fan account told Doja that they wanted to hear her say that she loves her fans, and Doja replied, \u201cI don\u2019t though because I don\u2019t even know y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Taylor Swift<\/strong> fan account responded to this comment by acknowledging that they don\u2019t know Doja either, but they have thrown their support behind her, telling the rapper that she\u2019d be \u201cnothing\u201d without her fans.<\/p>\n

The interaction ended with Doja writing back, \u201cNobody forced you, [I don\u2019t know] why you\u2019re talking to me like you\u2019re my mother bitch, you sound like a crazy person.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a result, thousands of fans are now unfollowing Doja Cat on Instagram and Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Doja Cat has lashed out at her fans, previously mocking them in a now-deleted Tweet and calling her own music \u201ccash grabs.\u201d<\/p>\n
