\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jamie Foxx<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out for the first time in a new Instagram Reels video.<\/p>\n In the new Reels, the 55-year-old actor addressed his medical scare<\/a>, all while debunking some rumors about what happened, and also gave thanks to some pretty special people in his life who have been by his side through everything.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Jamie <\/strong>first started by thanking fans and friends for all the messages he\u2019s gotten so far.<\/p>\n \u201cI can not even tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back,\u201d he shared, and while he didn\u2019t mention what the scare was, Jamie <\/strong>admits that he \u201cwent through something I never thought I would go through.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cA lot of people were waiting for updates but to be honest, I didnt\u2019 want you to see me like that\u2026I didn\u2019t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.<\/p>\n He also gave credit to his sister and daughters who \u201csaved my life. They kept it air tight, and didn\u2019t let anything out and protected me. I hope that\u2019s what everyone could have in moments like these.\u201d<\/p>\n Jamie <\/strong>also took the opportunity to debunk a few rumors about what happened, which included that he was now blind (\u201ceyes are working just fine\u201d) and paralyzed.<\/p>\n \u201cI went though hell and back and my road to recovery had some potholes as well. I am coming back and was able to work,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Jamie <\/strong>then again thanked everyone for all the support: \u201cI love all the love that I got\u2026\u201d he said while tearing up about it. \u201cIf you see me out and every once in a while I burst into tears, it\u2019s been tough.
