Aubrey O\u2019Day says it \u2018hurts\u2019 when people compare her exes Pauly D and Donald Trump Jr<\/p>\n
The 39-year-old former \u2018Danity Kane\u2019 frontwoman has always had high praise for Don Jr, 45, with whom she allegedly had an affair in 2011, and dated <\/p>\n
Pauly, 43, on and off from 2016 to 2018, and has now said they are not even in the \u201csame league\u201d.<\/p>\n
She told the \u2018Sofia with an F\u2019 podcast Thursday: \u201cThe fact that I do interviews and they say, \u2018Oh we should\u2019ve known you were with Don because you were with Pauly\u2019 and they say these names in the same sentence and I\u2019m like, \u2018whoa!’\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat to me hurts the most because a guy that had a tanning bed in his home in Rhode Island that was chosen to be part of a show that was made to laugh at them is so beyond different than Donald Trump Jr.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey are not even in the same league.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added the fact the two relationships being all looked at as \u201cone big equation of f******\u201d is \u201chorrific\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nReferencing her recent appearance on Michael Cohen\u2019s \u2018Mea Culpa\u2019 podcast in which she revealed that she and Don Jr first had sex \u201cin a gay club bathroom\u201d, she said she thinks the story gained traction because the politician hasn\u2019t been very \u201crespectful to the gay community\u201d in years since. <\/p>\n
\nShe added the reason she made the confession was to \u201cclarify that the man (she) loved was not a mockery\u201d or a \u201cjoke\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nAubrey added: \u201cHe was an intellect. He was well-pedigreed. He was incredibly insightful and wise.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe said last year her song \u2018Couple Goals\u2019 was about her rockier relationship with Paul.<\/p>\n
\nAubrey told Page Six: \u201cI don\u2019t like the words \u2018inspire\u2019 and \u2018Pauly D\u2019 in the same sentence.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe pain was brought on by the man, and the inspiration was me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDuring the same chat, she added she doesn\u2019t think she will ever find a love as strong as the one she shared with Don Jr, saying: \u201cI think, to find what him and I had, is probably going to be very, very difficult. And I\u2019m not banking on it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI completely gave up on (love) after that, which is how I was able to be with Pauly.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI mean, he doesn\u2019t own a book, he doesn\u2019t read. It\u2019s not somebody that would have been for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
