Charity Lawson<\/strong><\/a> is seemingly firing back at Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a> following his latest Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> recap.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe it\u2019s time we stop getting dating advice from unqualified TV personalities who like bashing women for the sake of views \ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffe\u200d\u2640\ufe0f,\u201d Charity, 27, wrote via Threads on Thursday, July 20. When sharing her statement via Instagram Stories, Charity added: \u201cMisogynistic men: now that\u2019s icky behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n While Charity didn\u2019t tag Nick, several fans responded to the post suggesting she was referring to the former Bachelor<\/a>, who penned an advice book<\/a> and gives dating tips on his \u201cViall Files<\/a>\u201d podcast. During the Tuesday, July 18, episode of his show, Nick, 42, recapped the Monday, July 17, episode of the ABC series and called Charity a \u201cf\u2014k boy magnet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI love how Charity pretended to the guys as if it was her decision [to send Brayden<\/strong><\/a> home] all while being so completely rattled. \u2018I\u2019m just so confident about the decision,\u2019\u201d Nick said on the Tuesday episode while impersonating Charity. \u201cYou are just spiraling, Charity. Charity loves a f\u2014k boy.\u201d<\/p>\n Before Brayden said his goodbyes<\/a> to Charity, the contestant claimed that the therapist was \u201calways on\u201d when they were filming. Nick, for his part, felt that there was some \u201ctruth\u201d to Brayden\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the lead, it\u2019s like you have two jobs. One: film a TV show \u2014 that\u2019s actually No. 1 \u2014 and two is to fall in love,\u201d he revealed. \u201cIt\u2019s like this kind of unspoken agreement between the lead and the producers. \u2018Listen, we have two things we have to do in the next eight weeks, we have to film a good TV show and we want you to fall in love and we really want both to happen.\u2019 Nine times out of 10, they can work in unison with each other, but for a non-professional lead, so to speak, trying to do both, it\u2019s very obvious to the cast members. Every Bachelor and Bachelorette has done it. I\u2019m sure I was guilty of it. It\u2019s just like you can see them playing a role.\u201d<\/p>\n Nick went on to point out that John \u2014 who went home in the episode \u2014 had a strong physical connection with Charity. Before his exit, the duo were \u201cmaking out pretty hard.\u201d Nick subsequently alleged that if Charity was kissing the men<\/a> instead of having a conversation with them, then she didn\u2019t see them as her potential life partner.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s almost a negative if all you are doing is kissing, that means that you both have nothing to talk about or the lead is not interested in getting to know you,\u201d Nick claimed in the episode. \u201cIt\u2019s the conversations that actually drive the relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n While Nick made claims about Charity\u2019s dating patterns<\/a>, he did give her props for showing growth while on a one-on-one date with Xavier.<\/p>\n \u201cShe had the self-awareness to know that [a relationship with Xavier] was dangerous for her,\u201d he recalled. \u201cThe fact that she wanted to sit down, and still question him and his past relationships does show that growth of her getting out of this [mindset of] just generally attracted to very good looking, potential f\u2014k boys.\u201d<\/p>\n As Nick complimented Charity for being hesitant with moving forward with Xaiver, he thinks it won\u2019t really matter as he predicts the couple will be together at the end of the show.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the end of the day, she\u2019s not going to get to know these guys<\/a>. It doesn\u2019t matter how much time she gets with any of them \u2014 she\u2019ll only get to know the very tip of the iceberg of any of these men but she can trust her eyes,\u201d he noted. \u201cAnd her eyes tell her that she wants to f\u2014k Xavier the most.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite his criticism of Charity and her season, Nick confessed he was \u201cenjoying\u201d as the Bachelorette.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s more vulnerable than I imagined she would be,\u201d he said. \u201cI thought her background in psychology would cause her to be a little more \u2026 guarded and reserved \u2026 and have the emotional maturity, like, to talk herself off the ledge and not be so generous with exposing her weaknesses. She\u2019s been very giving in that regard.\u201d<\/p>\n
