Jason Aldean<\/strong><\/a> shared a health update with fans after abruptly rushing off stage during his Saturday, July 15, concert in Hartford, Connecticut.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was hot out, I was playing golf all day yesterday, and then [I] got to the show and there was a combination of dehydration and just heat exhaustion,\u201d the country singer, 46, explained in a series of Instagram Story<\/a> videos on Sunday, July 16. \u201cSo, I hear a lot of stuff going around, heat stroke, all this stuff. I don\u2019t think it was quite that serious, but it was pretty intense last night at the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Aldean went on to note that he \u201cknew [the heat exhaustion] was coming,\u201d but that he tried to \u201cget through as much of the show as I could\u201d before exiting the stage during his song \u201cCrazy Town\u201d to receive medical attention. (\u201cCrazy Town\u201d is the 13th song on Aldean\u2019s setlist, which is 22 tracks total.)<\/p>\n \u201cI knew it wasn\u2019t gonna happen and I was trying to just get off stage and figure out what was going on,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n After cutting the performance short, Aldean says he received \u201ca couple of IVs\u201d and continued to receive treatment on Sunday. \u201c[I\u2019ve] got a show in Saratoga [Springs, New York] tonight. We\u2019re gonna play that show and then we\u2019re gonna make the one up to you guys in Hartford, as well. So, again, I apologize for cutting the show short, but we\u2019ll come back and make it up to you and I\u2019m feeling a lot, lot better so thank you guys for checking in and, I don\u2019t know, we\u2019ll see you tonight.\u201d (Aldean successfully made it through his show on Sunday<\/a>.)<\/p>\n Following Saturday\u2019s show, the Connecticut performance\u2019s venue, Xfinity Theatre, issued an Instagram<\/a> statement announcing that an additional Hartford performance would be \u201crescheduled for a future date.\u201d The message continued: \u201cWe appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night\u2019s performance.\u201d<\/p>\n Aldean\u2019s Hartford concert marked the second stop on his Highway Desperado Tour<\/em><\/a>, which kicked off in Bethel, New York, on Friday, July 14. The \u201cYou Make It Easy\u201d singer will make over 40 stops across the U.S. and Canada through October 28.<\/p>\n The Grammy nominee\u2019s health scare comes nearly one year after he was dropped by his longtime PR firm<\/a> after his wife, Brittany Aldean<\/strong><\/a>, was accused of making transphobic comments via Instagram. \u201cMusic has always been and remains The GreenRoom\u2019s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,\u201d the company\u2019s co-owner, Tyne Parrish<\/strong>, said in a September 2022 statement to Billboard<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe aren\u2019t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music \u2014 he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.\u201d<\/p>\n The month prior, Brittany, 35, entered a social media feud<\/a> with Maren Morris<\/strong><\/a> and Cassadee Pope<\/strong><\/a> after captioning an August 2022 Instagram<\/a> makeup tutorial, \u201cI\u2019d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life\ud83e\udd0e\u270c\ud83c\udffc.\u201d<\/p>\n In response, Pope, 33, tweeted<\/a>, \u201cYou\u2019d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people<\/a> in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their \u2018tomboy phase\u2019 to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.\u201d<\/p>\n Morris, also 33, replied to Pope\u2019s tweet<\/a>, writing, \u201cIt\u2019s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human?
