\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Matt Damon<\/strong><\/a> almost took an acting break.<\/p>\n The 52-year-old actor opened up in a new interview about how he actually promised his wife, Luciana Barroso<\/strong><\/a> that he would take a break from acting for a bit but that was before he got an offer from Christopher Nolan<\/strong><\/a> about Oppenheimer<\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While talking with Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>, Matt <\/strong>explained that he negotiated the deal while in couples therapy with Luciana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is going to sound made up, but it\u2019s actually true,\u201d he stated. \u201cI had \u2014 not to get too personal \u2014 negotiated extensively with my wife that I was taking time off. I had been in Interstellar<\/em>, and then Chris put me on ice for a couple of movies, so I wasn\u2019t in the rotation, but I actually negotiated in couples therapy.\u201d<\/p>\n Matt <\/strong>added that \u201cthe one caveat to my taking time off was if Chris Nolan called. This is without knowing whether or not he was working on anything, because he never tells you.
