Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> and her daughter, Princess Charlotte<\/strong><\/a>, hopped aboard London\u2019s Underground for a rare outing.<\/p>\n

Kate, 44, and Charlotte, 11, were seen mingling with commuters while riding the Elizabeth Line, which travels from Greater London to parts of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey spoke to members of the public sitting across from them,\u201d a source told Hello!<\/em><\/a> after riders spotted the duo during a public transit adventure on Saturday, October 10. \u201cThey had security with them. The security didn\u2019t make it obvious they were there and they tried to make it as \u2018normal\u2019 as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCatherine had her phone with her and was looking at her phone for a couple of minutes. They seemed very relaxed and were chatting together, smiling,\u201d added the eyewitness. \u201cIt was a brief interaction with people opposite them, but they seemed very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales, who wore a burgundy midi dress with matching heels, held her mini-me\u2019s hand while exiting at the Tottenham Court Road stop.<\/p>\n

Kate used to ride the tube in the years before she wed husband Prince William<\/strong>, but it was an unexpected appearance for Charlotte. The young royal seemed almost \u201camazed\u201d as she looked around the carriage, according to a source who saw her on the newest tube line, which opened during the late Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s Platinum Jubilee year in May 2022.<\/p>\n
