Princess Charlotte<\/a> were spotted on the London Underground over the weekend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Catherine, Princess of Wales travelled by tube over the weekend<\/p>\n
The 44-year-old royal and her middle child took seats in the carriage of an Elizabeth line train through central London on Saturday (10.10.26), with their security detail spotted close by, and they took time to speak with members of the public before they alighted at Tottenham Court Road station.<\/p>\n
A source told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “They spoke to members of the public sitting across from them. They had security with them and Catherine held Charlotte’s hand getting off at Tottenham Court Road.<\/p>\n
“The security didn’t make it obvious they were there and they tried to make it as ‘normal’ as possible.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“Catherine had her phone with her and was looking at her phone for a couple of minutes. They seemed very relaxed and were chatting together, smiling. It was a brief interaction with people opposite them but they seemed very happy.”<\/p>\n
\nThe onlooker said the young princess seemed almost “amazed” as she looked around the carriage.<\/p>\n
\nIn May 2023, Catherine and her husband, Prince William – who are also parents to Prince George, 13, and eight-year-old Prince Louis – took an Elizabeth line train to a public engagement ahead of King Charles’ coronation.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple boarded the London Underground at Acton Main Line in west London, where they chatted to Transport for London (TfL) workers about their plans for the coronation, before travelling three stops to Tottenham Court Road, where they got off to head to the Dog + Duck in Soho.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to Britain’s HELLO! magazine, Catherine was asked about the coronation and said: “Yes, it’s going to be a busy time. We’re getting there. I still feel like we’re trying to get ducks in a row.”<\/p>\n
\nWilliam enjoyed a pint in the pub and admitted he loved chatting to people in bars.<\/p>\n
\nHe told a group of local businessmen: “You always have the best conversations in pubs – you never know who you are going to meet.”<\/p>\n
\nBut the prince joked he would have to watch how much he drank and “get back into work mode”.<\/p>\n
\nHe echoed his comments when he left the pub, telling waiting crowds he had “just had a bit of cider” but would be putting his responsibilities first.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to People magazine, he said: “I will drink after the coronation but not now.”<\/p>\n
