Nara Smith<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about having four kids before the age of 24.<\/p>\n

The now 25-year-old influencer, who is best known for her short cooking videos, shares four young kids with her husband, model Lucky Blue Smith<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

They are parents to daughters Rumble Honey<\/strong>, 6, Whimsy Lou<\/strong>, 2, and Fawnie Golden<\/strong>, 1, and son Slim Easy<\/strong>, 4.<\/p>\n

In a recent appearance on the Aspire <\/em>podcast<\/a>, Nara <\/strong>defended her decision to have four children so young, and explained why she wanted that.<\/p>\n

“I was 19 when I had my first and I had my last a year ago,” Nara<\/strong> said on the podcast. “So, I was 23. Just turned 23.” <\/p>\n

Explaining her decision, she shared, “I wanted kids younger. I didn’t know how young, right? But I knew I didn’t want to be an old mom. My dad said he had us at 45. He said, \u2018I wish I would have had you earlier because [of] my energy.’ He had a transparent conversation with us about it, and I saw that and heard him.”<\/p>\n

“I saw that and heard him. And then when I met Lucky, he was on the same page about having kids early as well,” Nara<\/strong> continued. “So, it kind of just all slotted into place. And I couldn’t be more grateful because I don’t think kids hold you back. You just have to plan more and schedule more and outsource help if you need to.” <\/p>\n

“At the end of the day, to me, it doesn’t make a major difference in my career or what I’m doing. And if anything, it just inspires them to work hard. Sure,” she added. “Is it a financial situation? Yes. Obviously that was something I was a little too young to grasp. Didn’t quite think about that part. But now that I’m a little older, I’m realizing it and I’m very grateful to be able to work as much as I do and provide for them.” <\/p>\n

“It was the best decision,” she says.<\/p>\n

Nara<\/strong> even explained that while she was dating Lucky<\/strong>, they initially wanted six kids!<\/p>\n

However, after having two, she said it felt like a lot, but her husband “really wanted a third.” <\/p>\n

“I have two siblings, so I was like, ‘You know what, I really like the number of three\u2014so let’s have three,’” she shared. “And then our fourth baby was a surprise. She was not supposed to be here, but now she’s the most precious thing and I couldn’t imagine my life without her.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Nara <\/strong>opened up about her thoughts on being labeled a tradwife<\/a>.<\/p>\n
