Sarah Paulson<\/strong><\/a> is honoring the late Diane Keaton<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 51-year-old American Horror Story<\/em> star took to Instagram on Sunday (October 11), marking the one year anniversary of her close friend’s death. <\/p>\n

Diane<\/strong> passed away in October 2025<\/a> after battling pneumonia for a few days. <\/p>\n

“One year. Impossible. Laughing with you will always be what I remember most. I love you,” Sarah<\/strong> wrote on Instagram<\/a>, along with a photo of the two laughing with Diane<\/strong>‘s daughter, Dexter<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

A week after Diane<\/strong> passed, Sarah<\/strong> remembered her “very dear friend”<\/a> and said she wasn’t able to talk about her loss. <\/p>\n

“She was a very dear friend of mine, so it\u2019s not something I\u2019m able to talk about yet. I\u2019m not able to talk about it. But all I can say, and I have been saying tonight, which is important to me to communicate, is that what you thought she was as a performer, she was even more spectacular as a human being,\u201d she told Access Hollywood<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the luckiest person in the world to have had her in my life the way that I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also paid tribute to Diane<\/strong><\/a> on what would have been her 80th birthday earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Diane<\/strong>‘s children, daughter Dexter<\/strong><\/a> and son Duke<\/strong><\/a>, also paid tribute to the late actress on the one year anniversary of her death. <\/p>\n

“One year without you, mom. It somehow feels like yesterday and forever ago all at once. I\u2019m still trying to get used to a world where I can\u2019t call you, have you there for a hug, or go on adventures with you,” Dexter<\/strong> shared with a photo<\/a> of them at her wedding. “It\u2019s the everyday moments that remind me just how much I wish you were still here. I love you and I miss you. Always.”<\/p>\n

Duke <\/strong>shared on his own Instagram<\/a>, writing, “I love you Mom Thinking of you every day”<\/p>\n
