Brad Pitt<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>is known for his charismatic and laid-back demeanor. As one of Hollywood\u2019s most famous men, the\u00a0<\/span>Fight Club<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>actor has been in the spotlight since the 1990s when he landed his comical supporting role in\u00a0<\/span>Thelma & Louise<\/i>. However, fame brings unwanted scrutiny, and Brad became the subject of plastic surgery<\/a> rumors after his July 2022\u00a0<\/span>GQ<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>cover was published.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Academy Award winner\u2019s cover shot featured him laying in a pool of water and roses, wearing a blue leather jacket. Upon noticing the pictures, social media users claimed that Brad looked unrecognizable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNext episode on\u00a0<\/span>Botched<\/i>,\u201d one Twitter<\/a> user wrote in June 2022. \u201cIt\u2019s a wax statue of Brad Pitt<\/a>, right?\u201d another chimed in, whereas a third tweeted, \u201cThe Ken auditions closed a while ago,\u201d seemingly in reference to Barbie\u2019s companion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Bullet Train<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>star has not addressed the rumors, but he has spoken out about dealing with the price of fame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t go out of my way to avoid it; I just don\u2019t seek it out,\u201d he told\u00a0<\/span>The New York Times<\/i><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>in late 2019. \u201cI realized that you have that ability to make someone feel good for a moment. I\u2019m not trying to say anyone is being brushed with my greatness. I\u2019m trying to say that I have the opportunity to brighten someone\u2019s day. That\u2019s a rare thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recalling how he rose to fame in the 1990s, the\u00a0<\/span>Moneyball<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>star and producer explained how \u201call that attention really threw [him].\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was really uncomfortable for me, the cacophony of expectations and judgments,\u201d Brad continued. \u201cI really became a bit of a hermit and just bonged myself into oblivion.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI\u2019ve had moments where I\u2019ve seen pictures of myself from years ago and gone, \u2018That kid looks all right.\u2019 But I didn\u2019t feel that way inside. I spent most of the \u201990s hiding out and smoking pot. I was too uncomfortable with all the attention. Then, I got to a place where I was aware that I was imprisoning myself. Now, I go out and live life, and generally, people are pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to \u201cdubious thoughts\u201d from societal pressures to look a certain way, the Golden Globe Award winner noted, \u201cIt\u2019s just ridiculous that we would beat ourselves up that way. It doesn\u2019t matter. I spent too much of life wrestling with those thoughts, or being tethered to those thoughts, or caged by those thoughts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite how difficult fame was for him in the past, the Oklahoma native continues to promote a positive outlook on life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
