Southern Charm<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Austen Kroll<\/strong><\/a> has a hot take about how his friend Craig Conover<\/strong><\/a> will fare on The Traitors<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI think that Craig being a Traitor would be too on the nose,\u201d Austen, 39, told Us<\/em> in an exclusive interview<\/a> with costar Salley Carson<\/strong>. \u201cSo I think that he\u2019s a Faithful, but the Traitors are like, \u2018We\u2019ve got to get rid of this guy, because he\u2019s onto us.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Austen said it will be \u201cinteresting\u201d to see how the season plays out. \u201cIf Craig is onto them, and then they get rid of him too quick, then [it\u2019s] like, \u2018OK, well, it\u2019s obviously who he thought it was.\u2019 So, I think Craig\u2019s going to be good at it. \u2026 Like, annoyingly good at it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Salley, 31, hinted Craig\u2019s success in the Traitors<\/em> castle \u201ccould go either way,\u201d adding, \u201cHe\u2019s going to be either really, really, really bad or really good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCraig Conover\u00a0has seen it all during his 14 years on reality TV \u2014 but there\u2019s apparently one Southern Charm season 12 surprise that will leave even Us die-hard fans shocked. \u201cWe just wrapped season 12 of Southern Charm,\u201d the 37-year-old TV personality confirmed on the Monday, August 3, episode of the \u201cGood Guys\u201d podcast. \u201cWe\u2019ve [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Austen went on to admit there was one factor that could contribute to Craig\u2019s downfall. \u201cI think that Craig might go in being like, \u2018I want to be the prom king of this thing,’\u201d he joked. \u201cAnd that\u2019s not what you should be doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Salley pointed out that season 4 winner and Traitor Rob Rausch<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 who had runner-up Maura Higgins<\/strong> convinced he was a Faithful until a gut-wrenching finale betrayal \u2014 had a similar approach.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf [Craig] was chosen to be a Traitor, I think that everyone would know,\u201d she told Us<\/em>, while Austen quipped, \u201cI don\u2019t know, man. He\u2019s a really good liar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig, 37, was announced as part of the season 6 Traitors<\/em> cast<\/a> last month along with Bronwyn Newport<\/strong>, Cody Simpson<\/strong>, Gizelle Bryant<\/strong>, Kristin Chenoweth<\/strong>, Taylor Hale<\/strong> and more stars. The hit Peacock series is set to return in early 2027.<\/p>\n

According to Austen, Craig was already overseas in Scotland before any of the Southern Charm<\/em> cast could offer him advice for the competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was in the castle and then we found out,\u201d Austen told Us<\/em>, teasing, \u201cCraig kind of moves like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He and Salley would likely have a harder time keeping their casting a secret. \u201cIf I got the call, I\u2019d be calling [him] in five seconds,\u201d Salley quipped.<\/p>\n
