Anthony Vaccarello<\/strong><\/a>‘s time at Saint Laurent <\/em><\/strong>has come to an end.<\/p>\n

On Friday (October 9), the Paris Fashion House confirmed that the 44-year-old fashion designer is exiting the brand after serving as Creative Director for the past decade.<\/p>\n

The news comes on the heels of Paris Fashion Week<\/em> where Anthony<\/strong> debuted his all-gold spring\/summer 2027 collection, which many believed felt like a swan song for the designer.<\/p>\n

In a press release, C\u00e9dric Charbit<\/strong>, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Saint Laurent<\/em>, “warmly” thanked Anthony for his dedication to the House.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring his tenure, Anthony took Saint Laurent<\/em> on a remarkable trajectory, elevating the house to the forefront of desirability and image, while accomplishing exceptional work both creatively and through his cultural impact,\u201d C\u00e9dric <\/strong>shared, per WWD<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to express my sincere gratitude to Anthony for his contribution to Saint Laurent over the past 10 years,\u201d Luca de Meo<\/strong>, chief executive officer of Kering<\/em>, added. \u201cThrough his creative vision and exacting standards, he has contributed to strengthening the enduring influence of one of France\u2019s greatest couture houses, as we embark on a new chapter in its history.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anthony<\/strong> is set to receive the International Designer of the Year award at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards<\/em> on November 2 in New York City. He is also one of six nominees for Designer of the Year at this year\u2019s Fashion Awards<\/em>, a fundraiser for the British Fashion Council, scheduled for November 30 in London.<\/p>\n

The Belgian fashion designer joined Saint Laurent <\/em>back in 2016. Prior to that, he worked for Fendi<\/em> and Versace<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As of right now, Saint Laurent<\/em> has not announced who will be taking over as the next Creative Director.<\/p>\n
