Harry Jowsey<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is getting honest about his decision to participate in Let\u2019s Marry Harry<\/i> with hopes of getting married.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn hindsight, that close to grieving and that close to losing my dad, I shouldn\u2019t have been like, \u2018Oh yeah, time to get married,\u2019\u201d Jowsey, 29, shared on the Tuesday, October 6, episode of iHeartRadio\u2019s \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cBut also, who am I to say no to a massive show like that and an opportunity where all these people are pouring love and energy into me and to try to make the best show possible?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jowsey \u2014 who lost his dad<\/span><\/a>, Paul Jowsey<\/strong>, at 70 to a terminal illness in December 2024 \u2014 added, \u201cI probably shouldn\u2019t have done it, and I probably should have just waited a little bit, but it is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

This summer, viewers had a front-row seat to Harry\u2019s journey of finding his forever partner on the hit Netflix series Let\u2019s Marry Harry<\/i>.<\/p>\n

During the reunion show, which premiered in August, fans learned that Harry and his winner (or wife), Amber Mozo<\/strong>, had already split<\/span><\/a> after exchanging vows in a televised ceremony officiated by Amanda Kloots<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

In his latest podcast interview, Harry was asked to respond to many of the women on the show who expressed concern<\/span><\/a> that he wasn\u2019t ready for marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou never really know if you\u2019re ready until you find the perfect person or get to a point where you\u2019re ready to meet that person,\u201d Harry explained to podcast cohosts Charity Lawson<\/strong> and Rachel Recchia<\/strong>. \u201cOn the show. I was telling myself, and I was telling everyone like, \u2018Yeah, for sure.\u2019 Also, you have a huge f***ing juggernaut of a machine behind you making this show. So I\u2019m like, \u2018If they think I\u2019m ready, surely I\u2019m ready, and I\u2019m good to go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry remembers producers asking him if he was prepared to find his forever person.<\/p>\n

\u201cAm I going to say, \u2018Oh no, no way. What are we doing guys? Cut the cameras?\u2019\u201d he asked. \u201cI thought I was ready. And I\u2019m like, the universe has got me. My dad\u2019s got me. Everything\u2019s good. In those moments, I think I\u2019m always trying to convince myself that I\u2019m ready and convince the audience. I believe in that time that I was ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
