While filming Special Forces<\/em><\/a>, Alexia Umansky<\/strong><\/a> told her dad, Mauricio Umansky<\/strong><\/a>, about her past sexual assault for the first time on screen.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, October 8, episode of the show, Alexia, 30, was brought into interrogation<\/a>, where she spoke to Directing Staff about how she wanted to prove she had courage \u201cafter what happened\u201d to her.<\/p>\n

The DS asked for Alexia to expand on what she meant by that, to which she said, \u201cSeven years ago, I was on a trip with some friends, and I was with people I trust. I was put to bed because I had a little too much to drink. And I woke up and I could tell something had happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexia recalled how she \u201cdidn\u2019t even have the power or consciousness to say no\u201d to the person who assaulted her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt completely objectified. And I had a lot of pain and anger because of that. At the one-year mark, I decided that happiness is a choice and I was gonna choose to put it away,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it still hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexia was urged to use the pain and anger in a positive way in the competition<\/a>. She offered more insight into how she dealt with her sexual assault in the years since it happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was taken advantage of. My family \u2014 to this day \u2014 does not know,\u201d she added in a confessional. \u201cWhen you bring other people into it, it just becomes more of a conversation. And maybe a conversation is what I needed. But I just wasn\u2019t ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexia ultimately found the courage to speak to Mauricio, 56, in front of the other recruits.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t know [this]. I was taken advantage of by a friend,\u201d she said. \u201cYou guys not knowing is not anything I ever wanted you to know, but I kind of wanted to protect you guys from.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKyle Richards wasn\u2019t particularly pleased to hear about her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and their daughter Alexia Umansky\u2019s Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test journey. \u201cMy first thought was, \u2018I\u2019m going to kill you, Mauricio,\u2019\u201d Kyle, 57, told Page Six on Tuesday, August 4. \u201cI was actually not happy at all. Mauricio, who shares Alexia with estranged wife Kyle Richards<\/strong>, told his daughter she shouldn\u2019t have felt the need to protect them while she was going through a trauma. (The exes also share daughters Sophia, 26, and Portia, 18. Kyle is also the mother of daughter Farrah, 37, whom she shares with ex Guraish Aldjufrie.)<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce you bring it to other people, it\u2019s hard to \u2026 it\u2019s not just yours,\u201d she continued. \u201cI feel like it\u2019s not just your own concern, you know? It just becomes everyone else\u2019s concern. But I have definitely healed. I\u2019ve come a long way since then.\u201d<\/p>\n
