Jenna Dewan<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s fianc\u00e9, Steve Kazee<\/strong>, is fiercely defending her after fans speculated about her alleged closeness with Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t have chemistry. They have too much chemistry. They have chemistry in the wrong places. Make up your minds,\u201d Steve, 50, joked in apparent Instagram replies<\/a> to coverage about DWTS<\/em>. \u201cYa\u2019all really got too much time on your hands. The spouses are unbothered, stay hatin\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steve spoke out over speculation among fans on social media that Jenna and Val exhibited inappropriate intimacy in the ballroom given that both are in long-term relationships with other people. (Jenna and Steve have been engaged<\/a> since 2020 while Val\u2019s wife is fellow DWTS<\/em> pro Jenna Johnson<\/strong>, who is paired with Glee<\/em> star Harry Shum Jr.<\/strong> on the ABC reality competition this season.)<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso put respect on my queen\u2019s name and at least pronounce her name correctly when you try to slander her,\u201d Steve also reportedly wrote to his fianc\u00e9e\u2019s critics.<\/p>\n

Jenna, 45, and Val, 40, have steadily improved their scores each week during Dancing With the Stars<\/em> season 35. The couple started off with a solid score of 19 out of 30 for their tango on the season premiere while they soared to 24 points<\/a> for their rumba on \u201cMariah Carey Night\u201d on Tuesday, October 6.<\/p>\n

Last week, Steve showered Jenna with praise<\/a> over how she\u2019s handled both the pressure of DWTS<\/em> as well as potential criticism from the judges and viewers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could not be more in awe of this incredible woman,\u201d Steve wrote<\/a> after Yacht Rock Night on September 29. \u201cThe amount of literal blood, sweat, and tears she has poured into this journey over the last month has been beyond amazing to witness.
