You don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about.\u201d That appears to be a severe case of projection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you\u2019re an idiot than to open it and prove them right,\u201d Kelly said, seemingly without any self-awareness. \u201cEver hear that saying? It applies to you, sweetheart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former TV host whined that Rodrigo is a \u201cknow-nothing moron,\u201d demanding that she \u201cSit down and be quiet. \u2026 Be quiet. Kelly, not unreasonably, took about a decade before coming forward with her experiences. SHAME.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:4ewnpnebeh7zuk5pbardaxqz\/post\/3mwpdfrxtok2b?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">[image or embed]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 FLAVOR FLAV \u23f0 (<a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:4ewnpnebeh7zuk5pbardaxqz?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@flavorflav.bsky.social<\/a>) <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:4ewnpnebeh7zuk5pbardaxqz\/post\/3mwpdfrxtok2b?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">September 29, 2026 at 10:49 PM<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The easy answer, and it isn\u2019t necessarily wrong, is that Megyn Kelly is part of the \u201cmostly just me\u201d movement. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s like Me Too, except that instead of recognizing how many people \u2014 especially women \u2014 have had similar experiences with predation, people like Kelly either weaponize their own victimhood to dismiss other survivors or don\u2019t mention what they themselves went through at all. <\/p>\n<p><em>What happened to me is valid and tragic, but I\u2019m not like other victims, I\u2019m special, I\u2019m one of the good ones<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not a healthy mindset. But for some survivors, it\u2019s how they cope and avoid the breakdown of processing how widespread this really is.<\/p>\n<p>The other part of the answer is more callous. Megyn Kelly knows that her audience is almost entirely older, white, conservative men who want to hear the mean blonde woman throw other women under the bus and reinforce existing power structures instead of challenging them.<\/p>\n<p>It is likely that Kelly actually believes at least some of what she is saying.
