Benefits include a 60% bonus on points earned from paid stays, space-available room upgrades and a welcome amenity at check-in.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, cardholders receive 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year, giving them a head start toward earning higher tiers of IHG One Rewards elite status.<\/p>\n<p>While Platinum isn\u2019t top-tier status \u2014 and does not include free breakfast \u2014 it\u2019s still a valuable perk to get just for holding the card, especially if you stay with IHG even a handful of times per year.
