Mariah Carey Night didn\u2019t end on a high note for one Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> duo.<\/p>\n

The remaining 12 couples hit the ballroom floor on Tuesday, October 6, performing to various hits by Carey, 57, from \u201cObsessed\u201d to \u201cHero.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHi everyone, it\u2019s Mariah,\u201d the pop icon said in a video message played at the beginning of the episode. \u201cWhat an honor to have an entire evening dedicated to my music. I can\u2019t wait to see how these fabulous couples bring my songs to life. I wish I could be there tonight, but I\u2019ll be watching and cheering you on from afar. Have fun!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ciara Miller<\/strong> kicked off the night with a jazz routine to \u201cEmotions,\u201d explaining in her intro package that she and Brandon Armstrong<\/strong> have experienced plenty of emotions<\/a> throughout the season so far. Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong> called it her best dance yet, with the pair earning 21 out of 30 points.<\/p>\n

Paralympic athlete Ezra Frech<\/strong> later impressed the judges with a steamy rumba, praising his partner, Daniella Karagach<\/strong>, for giving him the space to take on new challenges<\/a> each week.<\/p>\n
